The Ridgeway Surgery

Amazing and compassionate service. Regular reminders about check ups and tests. Reception staff very polite and helpful. Recently I have been diagnosed with a very serious condition and the level of help and support I received from doctors and staff of the Ridgeway Surgery has been enormous, they have been attentive to my needs emphasising that I should contact them if I need anything. Minor issues with contacting the practice means nothing in comparison with their commitment and quality of service.

Himanshu was absolutely fantastic and is a real asset to the surgery. He assisted our family during an unexpected family emergency. He assisted in organising ongoing clinical requirements of my elderly family members as well as making my son a temporary patient and organising all of his first year vaccinations as we were stuck tending to sick family. Very very appreciative of his help, support and professionalism.

I have been with Ridgeway for the last 13 years and my recent experience has been excellent. Since increasing the capacity on the Patches system, GP access has improved massively. They always triage on the day for a phone call or F2F as appropriate. They even called me back within 2 minutes of competing a Patches request as I needed urgent help. I have found the GPs to be very efficient, with all appropriate tests and referrals completely in a timely manner. They really make you feel well cared especially Dr Bukhari and Dr Doshi. Thank you very much.

The receptionists are understanding and helpful, Dr Patel and Dr Gohil are attentive and caring and Pauline is the only phlebotomist who manages to prevent bruising after blood tests. I feel so fortunate to have this wonderful GP surgery near me.

The Ridgeway Surgery is the best one in Harrow. its able team led by Dr. Gohil, Dr. Doshi & Dr. Dalal is very experienced and supportive. they ensure that the patients are well taken care off and all the possible support is extended to them. I recommend them extremely highly.

It was very timely service. Used patches to book appointments; received a call at 8:30am for a confirmed appointment at 9:45am. Highly recommend

In response to these negative comments, I am actually very surprised after being at this surgery for many years, seeing many different doctors (apart from one) i have never experienced this. In addition compared to my familys GP experience with many other surgery all over the uk. I as well as them believe this is one of the best GP practice there are. Guys although I can empathise in some ways, only because I dont know your situation. Have you considered that the problem could be you?, in life we often get back what we put in, what may appear rude to you could simple be, misconception, prejudice or even language Barriers, which other country will you go and get free NHS. Be grateful and just be nice it often comes back to you, or better try working behind the desk. All this complaining is unecessary sometimes, or better still find another practice.

Contacting the surgery via Patchs is straightforward and I find that the response is prompt with appointments offered on a timely basis. A good experience.

Really appreciate the doctors and staff. The work hard for us to try and look after us. My, doctor, Dr Lloyd has been great in the many years I have been with Ridgeway surgery. Sure, nothing is perfect ever , but we cant treat human beings like robots, so not sure I agree with all the negative reviews here ( mostly about getting an appointment!). People need to be know that GP surgeries are currently (and in general) over-subscribed and there as there is a high demand in the community. I'm sure they do their best.

The Ridgeway Surgery is the best in the area. The doctors and the staff is very caring and ensure we get the right attention & help with the health issues.

A Big Thank you to Dr. Dalal. To treat my injury and infection after a very poor treatment provided by northwick park A&E department. I know surgery service has gone so down but i was in good hands and been treated well. God bless you Dr. Dalal.

I have been a patient for over 10 years. I need to make appointments sometimes and have no issue making appointments with whatever system is currently available. I get a response that day, and get an appointment that day or if it is with my preferred doctor I might need to wait for a few days. The doctors also book in follow ups as needed. I also have no issues getting a blood test and the results come back quickly. I have found there level of response to be very high and it did not change in the pandemic. If the issue can't be resolved by their online booking system, the reception staff are happy to try and help and sometimes there's no wait!

Absolutely brilliant service every time. I had to cancel a nurse’s appointment as I’d be travelling on the day. Called yesterday afternoon to rebook. The receptionist was so accommodating and offered me an appointment yesterday itself. Saw Pauline (you are a star ⭐ ) half an hour later. Can’t fault Ridgeway Surgery.

It's never been easy to get appointments to see the nurse or doctor. But they try their best to get an appointment. They heard us out every single time provided what I felt is the right advice. Wanted to thank them for their timely services

My family and i have been with this surgery since we moved in to the area 7 years ago. Is not that often that we need to contact them or go in to the practice maybe 2 or 3 times per year. Thank God for that. We never had a issue , we have done walk in appointment, we done phone call appointment, ok have to wait 15 or 20 minutes to be able to speak with a member of staff to request for a phone consultation with the doctor , but that is the way with all the busy doctor surgeries and this one is busy. All doctor's , nurses , receptionist I dealt with have been polite and dealt with the problems issue I may have. I can't praised them enough for what they do . As I said I never had a problem or any member of my house hold. Again had to use the phone consultation this morning had to wait 17 minutes to speak with the receptionist, Doctor call me 20 minutes later , so to me is very good service.

I have used this practice for about 2 decades and I can honestly say that I have no complaints....
I use their online appointment system, which allows me to see what doctors/slots are available and at 2 different surgeries..... even for a few weeks ahead.
If people have to wait past their appointed time, it's because the GP is spending more than the 10 allocated minutes with each patient, not rushing them out the door before they sit down. One day any of us might need that few extra minutes!
The Reception staff are busy and always helpful. We need to remember they are under a lot of pressure too.
If the phones aren't answered immediately, that's because patients call up feeling distressed, often with speech/language difficulties, unable to express their needs, for various reasons. That delays staff, who must continue with the call regardless.....

Many of my friends and colleagues tell me that they have no trouble getting through to their GP's but have to wait 2 or 3 weeks to get an appointment - the Ridgeway offer a "same day" service for emergencies! Without paying hundreds of pounds to see a private GP you'll fund it hard to get a better surgery!!

I have always had an excellent experience at this surgery. Okay, I've had to wait, but what do you expect- this is not a private practice (I've had to wait at some of those too). The Drs, nurses and even receptionists have been more than kind and helpful to all of my family, even my elderly mother when she stays with me. Politeness and appreciation go a long way. We should all try it.

I've been with this surgery for 32 years and have always found the service very good. The doctors have always been like family doctors- very personal and caring. Dr Small is an experienced, bright, brilliant doctor as are all others. The younger doctors are excellent too-Dr Nasr was brilliant today. The administration team are also very professional and friendly. Considering the pressure NHS is under, we are lucky to be with the Ridgway Surgery
