Hundalee House

Unbelievable! This place is like a dream!
The setting's excellent, the room was perfectly clean and everything worked well, the breakfast was right on spot (you can enjoy anything you want), the staff was kind and the whole stay was lovely.
The best thing was that the price was more than reasonable for the quality.
Can't wait to get back!

We had completed the Border Abbey's Way walk in Jedburgh. The accommodation was booked for us. Not ideal location out of town but exceptional in all other respects.

Had an excellent stay at Hundalee House. It was clean, comfortable and full of history. The host, Sheila, was so friendly and welcoming. If we were in Jedburgh again we'd stay there.

We loved our stay at Hundalee and found the building to be very cosy. Sheila was welcoming and friendly and showed us to our room. On the grounds are chickens whose eggs were used at breakfast which is a lovely touch, as well as delicious honey collected on site. It was lovely to get chatting to the other guests over breakfast. We walked 30 minutes to the centre for dinner which was a lovely walk. I recommend staying for two days to give you more time to unwind.

A gorgeous B&B with classic decorations, beautiful spacious rooms with comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast. All necessities are present and taken care of, and there's a beautiful garden to relax in. Hostess was super friendly and kind, and her 2 dogs were lovely too. Delightful service overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Lovely countryside B&B with an excellent hostess. As described a 20min walk from Jedburgh, but be aware if the weather is inclement then it could be slippy and muddy in places on the walk.

Stayed here for one night whilst doing the NC500.
Excellent place to stay, very clean and tidy, my room had clean thick towels and matching bath robes.
The bed was very comfortable.
The views from the windows of the grounds are amazing.
Breakfast was cereal, fresh fruit and a full cooked breakfast, including toast and tea or coffee.
Fantastic value for money.
Parking is free and there's plenty of space, the ground is solid block paving, important if like me you ride a motorcycle. The parking area is well lit and away from the road, no prying eyes looking at your bike at night, I felt sade leaving my bike here.
Sheila, the owner was friendly and helpful, and was on hand for any questions.
All in all, a good stay, highly recommended, I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

If you like a rural location with a town nearby then this is the place to be. Very frendly owner and nice and clean rooms. Everything is very well equipped. In just a few minutes you are in Jedburgh. A perfect stay. Thanks Sheila.

Lovely warm welcome from the owners. Lovely clean room. Breakfast amazing and you can choose exactly what you want, nothing is too much trouble. I loved the decor Highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Hundalee House is a romantical place with a wonderful garden and a very special interior. The rooms are pretty and the dining room - even with active fireplace! - is more than homely. Sheila and her husband are kind hearted people and Sheila prepares a rich and tasty breakfast. Hundalee House is an extremely welcoming place and highly recommended!

Me and the wife had a lovely time here on the weekend, gorgeous setting lovely rooms and so soft bath robes i hardly took mine off. Very accommodating owners making sure me and the mrs had an early breakfast both days as we were participating in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival so needed to be out early both days. We will definitely come back here the next time visiting Edinburgh .

Beautiful setting , spotlessly clean . Very very hospitable. We were there for a family funeral so only one night stay regrettably. Breakfast so good too great variety x

Stayed at this beautiful place 27-31 December Great surroundings nice and peaceful ,Great house lovely and cosy and beautifully decorated. Everything was there for us .Sheila was a fantastic host nothing was to much trouble.Jedburgh a place to visit with the Abbey go in the evening when it's all lit up :). Would definitely recommend this beautiful B&B .

My wife and I stayed at Hundalee House for 2 nights whilst in the Borders for a wedding. Sheila Whittaker is a most helpful host and everything was perfect for us with excellent and comfortable accommodation and a very fulsome breakfasts. The house is set in lovely peaceful grounds and very convenient for all travel routes. Jedburgh is a most interesting little town and the abbey and Mary Queen of Scots house well worth visits both being very close to each other. We will certainly hope to visit Hundalee again.

A hidden treasure of Jedburgh. Beautiful Victorian country house, clean spacious en suite rooms, fabulous, fresh breakfast, very close to the town. Friendly atmosphere. A great place for both business stay or sightseeing. Highly recommend.
