Found this tearoom very luckily after our visit to Sherlock Holmes museum. Although we hadn’t made the reservation in advance, the staff kindly asked the chef if afternoon tea could be prepared for us, and again luckily we were able to sit and have the afternoon tea-which was very tasty and nicely presented!! My daughter loved it and was so happy :).

The restaurant itself is very nice, and other food menu looked nice too.

We wish to visit here again, and I believe this could be your lucky choice for afternoon tea in London!

I came here as a tourist alone and I found comfortable eating at this restaurant. I came here for breakfast one day and dinner for the another day. The food, service and atmosphere were all great. This place is quiet and is suitable for business meeting or dating.

Really loved my visit to the Potting Shed and hope to return in the not too distant future. We had Sunday lunch and it was delicious. The portions were generous and the food was well cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is comfortable. I am very picky but could not find fault. Well done Potting Shed, keep a seat for me.

I was spoiled to have the entire restaurant to myself in a Saturday at 1pm. A glass of champagne, French onion soup, and squash/goat cheese salad was superb. The staff was so wonderful..a true secret gem hidden down the steps from the street.

Couldn’t dock a single point off this place. Food was delicious - every dish tasty and fantastically presented, atmosphere was pleasantly relaxing and service was flawless.

Came here for a birthday celebration. This restaurant is in the basement but with limited natural light the management have done a good job without making this small cosy restaurant dark.

The non-alchoholic drinks were very refreshing. The 3 course set menu provides extemely good value for such a fine dining venue. Homemade fresh and hot bread is served before the starter. All portions were generous but the icing on the cake has to the sticky toffee pudding - simply delicious!

By the end of the meal we all left happy and with very full belly.

Service is excellent. Our server Michaela was amazing. She was so courteous, caring and very knowledgeable with everything on the menu. Our lunch was made even nicer with the courtesy of Michaela 😊

We held a celebratory lunch here on a weekday afternoon, and from the initial planning stage with the manager Luca, through to the actual day itself when Giulia and her team attended to us, the whole experience was exceptional. We could not have found the staff more accommodating, helpful and responsive. The quality of the three-course lunch was superb, and the cocktails were mixed to perfection. The Potting Shed has clearly met the very high standards it has set itself. We shall definitely be coming back again.

Nice quiet downstairs restaurant with cricket theme interior. Good food and excellent service. Our waiter Reggie even arranged a surprise dessert for my sweet toothed wife, which was much appreciated.

Outstanding quality of service and food , led by Luca and Giulia, would definitely come back for a function or just a meal.

Last Tuesday I had a drink with a lovely lady around the corner, we decided to have an impromptu drink at the end of the evening somewhere else, we magically found this and decided we should give it a go.
The potting shed is an interesting bar/restaurant with an interesting cricket history. The barmaid was an absolute 'ode to joy'. Whatever you're paying her or isn't enough because she is a treasure that needs to be protected at all costs.
If you're in the baker Street area then the potting shed is a must.

Lovely little discovery and fab alternative to the bland station experience in Marylebone. Less than 3 minutes walk, but a world of difference

The staff at The Potting Shed were kind enough to accommodate us for an afternoon tea session at last minute. The scones were delicious and fresh, the tea was excellent, and the staff were nothing but warm and friendly. We so appreciate them treating us so well for our last tea time in London! Thank you!!

Highly recommend booking a reservation a day in advance before you go, but we were able to walk in on a Saturday afternoon and were seated without a wait no problem.

Lovely meal here and such a cute, quaint vibe to this restaurant. Although small, this place has a great little atmosphere and is perfect for breakfasts, brunches or lunches with friends. Food was delicious as well and it was a great location that was close and central.

The place has an interesting design. We had 2 course set menu before going to the theatre. Portions are on a smaller side and when you order your main I would recommend two side dishes. The waiters are very helpful and looked after us really well. We wanted to come back here again. Decent margaritas as well and I am very picky about how my margarita is made. Shame we had to rush. As we would like to stay there longer. Definitely recommend.
