Had our first visit here today for our new puppy’s jabs and check up, could not be any more pleased or impressed with the practice! The two women on reception were so helpful as was the vet! Made us feel super comfortable and answered any and every question we had. Very happy Pablo is signed up under their care. Definitely recommend! 🥰

Thank you so much for the kindness you showed Harvey as he became very ill.. your compassion in his final moments meant that he passed on with no fear, no pain and so peacefully.. 💗

Excellent service from Vet Amy and receptionist Emily- who kindly held me an appointment (for the same week) whilst I was registering my kitten. I did have a bit of trouble registering my pet online but called the central line for Goddard’s and they assisted me and confirmed the appt slot that Emily kindly held for me. Amy was thorough and so helpful and kind. My kitten felt so safe and comfortable with her. Definitely recommend this practice!

I can honestly say that the staff here are wonderful. I have been using them for nearly 10 years and still stay with them even though I have moved away from the area. My cat is not a fan of his box or vets but they always treat him with love and respect.

Also getting pet plan insurance has saved my literally thousands of pounds in bills since it was recommended.

Really busy practice. Reception staff are incredibly friendly, remember who you are etc. Vet herself was so competent and calming for my cats. Good spot for my taxi to drop me off and pick me up too.

Such a warm and welcoming place. The nurses were so helpful and you could tell how much they genuinely cared about what they did. Great service, that made me feel comfortable bringing my cats here. Bit baffled by some of the bad reviews... they are a private company and owning and caring for a pet costs money. Unfortunately, 20% or more of people’s wage does not go towards the cost of animal treatments like it does with the NHS. Great place! Highly recommend!

Best Vet Ever. I’m Titus, a big unruly, energetic 11 year old Dalmatian and I’ve been using these amazing vets all my life. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I’m not the easiest patient but they always make that extra time for me. I don’t like vaccinations and not really keen on examinations, especially my ears but I’ll do anything for liver paste and the attention of all the wonderful staff - Lauren, Sarah, Jill & Louise although I only see Louise now when I go to the hospital in Wanstead. They’ve taken care of my cuts & bruises, my tummy problems, general health MOTs and now my osteoarthritis. As I get older and my back legs get weaker they’ve given me various cocktails & treatments which really help. It never seems to take long to get an appointment and whatever they do always fixes me. My owner tells me they are great at explaining treatment plans options, costs and offering less expensive options. Because less expensive means more treats for me. So thank you to all the vets & staff who’ve taken care of me and kept me in champion condition. It’s a Big 5 Woofs from Titus.

Goddard Vet, Highbury are always highly professional, and also very understanding and kind. They always explain everything so the pet owner knows exactly what treatment is proposed. We have used them for 20 years or more for our cat(s). They are both completely realistic about a pet's diagnosis and chances of recovery, and understanding about the emotional and psychological attachment between owner and pet. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet.

Amazing service! This place feels like a family as a vet practice should feel where doctors and nurses know the dog and his history, building up a profile for him, bonding with him in the most natural, gentle and kind way possible. My dog Zaido was treated with a lot of love, patience and care knowing he is a bit anxious. We left there happy, confident and relaxed which is such a big win. Team is really good and I can say I finally found the place where I can trust them with my puppy’s issues knowing he is in safe and most importantly loving hands. My experience with other vet practices hasn’t been great until I was recommended this place for which I am deeply grateful. This is the first place that told to register my puppy’s microchip number in the uk since I got him from abroad, which is such a basic thing that no one bothered to tell me in two months since he arrived.

I had the great pleasure of having my dogs cared for by Goddard Highbury for 16 years. Lauren, Louise, Ruby and all the other nurses, vets and assistants were so friendly and lovely and took excellent care of my two pups. Their great work helped my sweeties live long and happy lives. A great practice!

So impressed with this vet, we brought our new rescue dog in today for her first visit and the vet and the nurse were both brilliant. The nurse gave so much helpful advice to us afterwards and a pack of information and advice for new dog owners. I feel really happy having our dog under their care and would highly recommend

I cannot fault the service provided by the Highbury Practice. We transferred to this vet many years back following an unfortunate experience at another local practice and have always been very impressed by the care and consideration with which our pets have been treated. Louise and her assistants were particularly sensitive and gentle in dealing with our 19 year old cat when his time came. I highly recommend the practice.

Friendly and professional staff. We used to live around the corner, but have moved to Cambridge almost three years ago. We couldn't find a vet locally who would offer the same level of expertise and understanding of my dog's health needs. Therefore I decided to take both my Scotties back to Goddard Highbury. Louise saved my older Scottie's life when he was still a puppy and she will remain being our vet for as long as we have dogs. My dogs feel comfortable there and never refuse the treat they are offered.
Additionally, I never had any difficulties with payments as this practice dealt directly with my pet insurance company. One of my dogs is on Goddard's cover plan for flea, worms and vaccinations, which is cheaper and better than the one I took for the other dog locally.

I had a bunch of neighbours recommend this place. When my dog had a seizure we ran him over there and they jumped on him immediately and sorted everything out without stopping to worry about paperwork. They charged less than the last place. I took him back after months of pills and itching under the previous vet and they fixed it with a single injection. Found out that when my neighbours cat died, they went to the trouble of sending a card and a pack of forget me not seeds to scatter when he was buried. To boot, they're lovely people who give good advice. If you need a practice with good people who know what they're doing I'd recommend checking them out.

I swear they are doing Voodoo in there as Frank the one eyed wonder pug LOVES going to the vets. Super helpful, and they saved my dogs life so I am always going to love them.
I have recommended so many people to them and I cannot fault a single member of staff there,

We've been taking our cats here for years, and have always been super happy with the quality of the service, the reasonable prices, but--perhaps most importantly--the kindness and compassion of the staff. The vets can be a scary place, not just for the animals, but also for their owners, and the staff, both the vets and the nurses, have been full of information and support, but also genuine passion for what they do, and a very clear understanding of the often stressful situations in which owners find themselves. There was even a time when we were caring for a stray cat and gave them some of our cat's prescription de-wormer--one of the nurses scolded me for administering a prescription medication (with a smile, of course), but gave me a ton of useful advice on what to do next. I applaud the entire staff for being masters of their crafts.

I have my 🐶 registered with GVG but the Highbury branch is not my local branch. Having said this, I have registered him there as he 💜 the Vets!!!! He never makes a sound when he is there and he has serious separation anxiety... he is what's known as a velcro 🐕... love them all at the Vet!

Took our puppy here for her second round of vaccinations. Very friendly, had plenty of time to answer my questions and provide advice as well as doing all the health checks.

The vet saw my little chico yesterday he was I'm so much pain and by the time we left he did have any pain
