Medivet Dalston

Easy, fast rabies shot administered to my extremely spicy kitty. I liked the vet. Everything went smoothly.

We used to be patients at the Hornsey branch and had to change to this one after moving houses and I was quite anxious since I really liked my previous vet but after a year I can confidently say that they are doing the absolute best for my cat. He got diagnosed with kidney cancer recently and how they are tracking all his progress is being absolutely brilliant, we have been with Cristian and Zoe and they are both professional but still very human and sensible (which I also need considering the gravity of the situation). All the nurses are incredibly lovely and seeing how caring they are to my little boy makes it easier to leave him there. Thank you everyone for all you are doing for Zorro and me.

The new team there are absolutely amazing! Customer service is everything to me and the receptionist was so lovely. The veterinarian Tara, was absolutely wonderful with my boy who is a rescue so can be very nervous and reactive.
I’m so relieved with the good energy there now.
I joined with Medivet Dalston 6 years ago and the team was wonderful back then. Then there seemed to be a switch up with all the staff a couple of years later and the service went really down hill so I moved to Canonbury Medivet (where the team are amazing) but due to the permit/parking change I decided to make my most recent appointment with the Dalston branch (and was dreading it) so it was a pleasant surprise seeing the new team!

The staff at Medivet Dalston go above and beyond. I brought my dog Frank in with an ear infection that had been playing havoc. He is a naturally nervous dog and yet was made to feel so comfortable by the wonderful vets and nurses. Dalston really specializes in making your animal feel comfortable, Frank barely cared that he was in an unfamiliar environment and in a few days, his ear issues were sorted. He's now back to his normal self and that's all thanks to the lovely staff and service we received. They are a credit to the practice and we're very lucky to call this our local vets!

Everyone at the Dalston branch is incredible, Christian and all the nurses take extremely good care of our very elderly cat. His life has been saved on multiple occasions by the amazing team over the years - and it’s testament to their expertise and care that he’s still around at an estimated 26yrs and counting!

I felt very happy about the treatment that I got from medivet Dalston. It was easy to get an appointment, the receptionist was polite and helpful and the vet Christian was very understanding and not judgemental about the bad flea infestation that my dog has.He gave me plenty of time and a lot of very good advice as well as the correct medicine. I didn't feel he was pushing expensive treatments at me I just felt that he wanted to help me and my dog. 24 hours later I have actioned all the things that he advised and my dog is visibly, and more happy.

Great local practice that has been very kind to us throughout the treatment of our sick dog. Staff are very patient and great at communicating treatment options and managing our expectations on the services available. We are really grateful to have this practice in our neighbourhood, you are an essential local amenity. Thank you team!

Everyone at your practice has been so kind, efficient and accommodating. We adopted a cat with a couple pre-existing conditions that we didn’t know about until we brought him in for his first health check. Your staff has given us the best information and given our cat the best care. We know he’ll be in good hands as we continue with you.

Came here with my cat Kimchi and had a pleasant visit. Both the veterinarians were helpful and kind and so were the receptionists. I look forward to Kimchi getting her vaccines done next week 😊

I've had two dogs in their care and have always had such a great experience. From regular checks ups to emergency operations (where a dog of mine swallowed a fish hook!) I do wish there was a bit more consistency in vets, I feel like I see a lot of different vets there, but the advice is always good and I trust them... so hey. Keep up the good work.

This was our first visit with our recently adopted cat, Oscar - we were extremely anxious, not only as cat owners, but also because Oscar previously had a tough life. However, the vet and the staff at the vets were just wonderful - helpful, thoughtful, considerate, supportive and mindful of our anxiousness and Oscar's. Thank you all at Medivet Dalston!

It was very easy to book an appointment for a new puppy and everything went seamlessly.
We did worry that we couldn’t go inside with our puppy for his vaccinations but Emma the vet made us feel completely at ease. Our puppy really appreciated someone new to fuss over him. Everything was explained to us in detail and when the puppy was returned, he was even more chilled than when we handed him over. Would highly recommend.

These amazing vets saved my dog's life this week by removing a foreign object (an acorn) from her intestines. They helped make sure she was all covered by the insurance and also helped with the direct claim. They called me with regular updates at every stage of her treatment and recovery. They sent us home incredibly prepared with everything we need for home care too. All the staff are genuinely caring and amazingly skilled. The hospital itself is very well equipped and ready for any animal emergency. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

I am extremely happy with the service provided by all staff at Medivet Dalston. I have been to a lot of vets in both Australia and the UK as I have always had a lot of animals. I consider the level of care provided by the team at Medivet Dalston to be of a high standard, and the price is very reasonable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this practice.
