Medivet Surrey Quays

I recently registered my first pet with Medivet Surrey Quays nearly two years ago, and I am still thoroughly impressed with the exceptional care and compassion provided by the entire team.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making both me and my furry friend feel comfortable. The clinic's organisation was evident, creating a reassuring environment.

The Doc demonstrated not only expertise but also genuine care for my pet's well-being.

I highly recommend Medivet to anyone seeking a vet who combines professionalism with a heartfelt dedication to animals' health. Thank you to the entire team for always providing top-notch care.

Staff was really friendly and the vet was superb with Milo, my recently adopted cat. We signed up for the healthcare plan, which has great benefits for a very reasonable price, is great!

Absolutely lovely people are working here. Have been with them only for few months, but never had any issues, always kind and helpful and always can find a slot to see my little rabbit. She likes them too :)

I have been using Medivet Surrey Quays for almost a year now for my two ragdoll kittens and have had a pleasant experience. The vet nurses are welcoming, polite and genuinely care about animals. Jasmine in particular is very helpful. The vets I have used over the year have been somewhat hit and miss. However, Dr Sophie truly cares and is extremely thorough when examining my kittens. Thank you.

Such a great practice! We're registered with our mini lop, Mr Choc and we've been happy with every visit so far. Our vet is always so caring and clear at explaining what's happening at the examination. Reception is also very helpful every time we call/email. Keep up the good work, we really appreciate it!

I usually go to Vets4Pets as they are the cheaper vet in the area. However I needed an emergency appointment and there were none available there so I contacted Medivet and they were able to give me an appointment the next morning. My elderly dog is very scared of the vet and gets aggressive once in the consulting room. The vet on duty was happy to have the consult outside in the street so my dog stayed calm. Once we went into the consulting room and my dog got scared and aggressive, both the vet and the receptionist were very empathetic and understanding of her behaviour. They allowed me into the consulting room with them to help keep my dog calm. Despite my dog putting up a fight, they were extremely thorough in investigating what was wrong with her and cut all of her nails which is my dog’s least favourite thing in the world! I really appreciate how understanding they were of my dog’s fear and didn’t hold it against her or me. I will definitely be using Medivet from now on.

Great service, friendly staff. Always make a fuss when we arrive which helps to calm my nervous pup.

They’ve also gone out of their way to help me administer treatment when I’ve struggled at home

The 24/7 Emergency practice have also happily put my mind at ease on 2 occasions and listened to my concerns, provided advice and put my mind at ease without making me feel I had contacting them unnecessarily

Great staff and service. My dog is a bit anxious at the vet, but they're great with him! They make both my dog and myself comfortable so everyone is happy. The vets on staff there are very knowledgeable and up to date with the most current veterinary information.

I can't praise Lucie and Gemma highly enough. They went so far beyond the call of duty when my dog needed treatment, even picking her up and dropping her off at my home at 9pm - so it was a very long day for them. Nothing was too much trouble. Lucie helped me claim insurance after the procedure and tried her best to get me the best payout. The best vets I have ever used. Amazing.

Absolutely stunning service! I was stressed out and worrying about my cat, but after all help and support I received I was sure that my cat is in the right hands. The cat is at the hospital but the Vet informs me on regular basis about her condition. The team at the front desk deal with insurance company and sorted out all papers for me, absolutely amazing job. Also, the lady Vet came up with a treatment plan which could cut some costs, which I really appreciate it. Thank you for all your efforts team! 5+ service, Agnes

Everyone at the surgery is always friendly and helpful. The rate of care animals receive is fantastic from all staff. Even with the current situation, the staff at the Surrey Quays branch do everything they can to reassure you over the phone and keep owners and pets safe when visiting the surgery.

Its a small place but overall seems like its good quality. I've been taking my dog here since we moved to the uk and have had no problems. Albeit I dont really have any other vet experiences for comparison outside of California. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The prices seem pretty standard. They dont seem pushy on selling you stuff so I appreciate that. Will continue taking my dog here.

I honestly can’t give a high enough rating. The team here are so lovely. Great customer service, very caring towards the animal and to people. My cat Trixie has terminal and aggressive cancer. Thanks to the team’s help we have actually managed to get a fair amount of time with her post-diagnosis (I understand it was quite an early diagnosis for this type of cancer). Lucie, Gemma and Louise have been particular stars for Trixie (although the whole team are awesome). They have done everything they can to make this upsetting time as stress free as possible.

Some examples: home visits without any debate, and even offering to do additional home visits out of hours. Handling insurance paperwork. Consulting experts to consider surgery and other options and pushing for results as fast as possible. Suggesting foods for her while as struggles to eat and have given us samples to try with her. Thinking of inventive ways to reduce her pain. Checking in regularly on us and how Trixie is. Always reassuring us that we absolutely are no bother despite how many times a day I call them! And actively encourage us to call for anything at all. They have also talked us through options for putting to sleep procedure in a very warm and empathetic way.

Honestly - I know that Trixie has been in great hands here and they have done everything in their power to help. What a team. Can not recommend enough.

Jack was very nervous being a rehomed and this being his first visit to the vet less than 1 week after the adoption. Despite that, you made him feel more comfortable than what I would have expected. Additionally, you were super patient with me and answered all my questions and resolved all my doubts. Thanks a lot!

We had a very positive experience at Medivet Surrey Quays. Our doctor Jonathan went out of his way to find the best treatment and alternatives for our elderly hamster - here is what Giorgio had to say:

i have a long legged Staffordshire terrier - i took him in for check up and annual injection ---- I found the experience to be positive loving -- and felt vry safe to relax with the staff and vet interacting with my dog -------- My dog reacted a bit understandably so -- I can only say ---- really happy with the --- confidence from staff and vet dealing with my Staffordshire terroir ----- the confidence and trust element from the staff I am 100% sure helped my big lump have his worry's but feel 100% safe --- its bloody good to have professional people react in a calm way ------- keeping me clam too ------ brilliant
