My husband is getting trews & a waistcoat made to measure went in with him today for a fitting. The gentleman who served us was a hoot, he was so funny & professional 😁 Highly recommend

What a find... Just happened to spot great quality shirts at sale prices in the window. Mr Thompson served me personally with a friendly smile. What a gent!! Next time I'm up North Jedburgh will be on my itinerary, just to visit this shop.

The wealth of knowledge the owner had was very comforting, I wanted a full kilt outfit for my son, knowing very little about them myself I felt very happy to let the gentleman talk me through what were the better options for me. He was a really helpful man, thoroughly enjoyed my trip to his store. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great selection of clothing, vast range of kilt hire outfits, the staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother to them when I went in for a kilt outfit fitting. I also purchased some clothing and Ghillie Brouges and the prices were very reasonable.
I will certainly return again.

Through a category of errors, and miscommunication with another store, I only contacted David Thompson & Son at the very last minute prior to my wedding.
I only wish I had been in touch with them from the beginning.
In one visit to the store, I had everything arranged for myself and the groomsmen.
The friendly and professional help of the staff (apologies, I have forgotten the names), the quality of their products, the value for money..
I cannot rate them high enough.

Excellent service getting my husband a suit at short notice after being let down else where. We wish we'd gone straight there. Fantastic quality suits at fair prices with other items in store to explore. Would happily recommend.

An excellent outfitters for gentlemen (not qualified to comment on the ladies' side of things!). Prices are very reasonable and there is an excellent choice. Service is second to none - very accommodating. There are always bargains to be found.
A few years ago the shop was placed in the top10 fashion shops worldwide by Vogue magazine! That's some accolade!
