Woodside Plant Centre & Cafe

Excellent plant centre for all your garden essentials including seeds, organic compost, pots and tools. Nice range of plants on display in walled garden. Cafe served excellent food and you can watch the birds as you eat

Great little 'original' plant centre with tea-room selling gorgeous food... and nice to see all kinds of small bird species feeding at the window

Nice food and home baking in a beautiful setting.

Nice dog friendly garden centre with a small cafe. The plants and garden items are well priced and of good quality but find cafe can be a wee bit hit and miss for service - food and sweet treats are nice!

Lovely spot to eat especially on a sunny day. Dogs are welcome if sitting outside in the walled garden.

Have had coffee/lunch in the cafe a few times. Sometimes it's fine other times I find one staff member in particular not terribly people-friendly & a bit regimentel! They're lunches aren't as good as they used to be ie boxed homemade sandwiches (still) instead of being made up in the kitchen. However they're cakes & tray bakes are excellent. The garden centre shop is very good - as are all the wonderful plants they sell. Garden centre & shop well worth a visit.

Nice cafe with good selection. In a unique setting too of a former walled garden.
Found that the room was a bit cramped (or cosy) with chairs back to back and squeezing passed required. Spacious tables have ample room for food though.
No baby changing facilities unless they were outside.
Low stars only due to being awkward to move about inside and baby change.
If your without belly and baby then no issues!
Although the cakes are tasty so belly will follow after a few visits.
