We arrived at the car park in the camper ready for a little walk around Jedburgh and spotted the cafe "still open" so we gave the chef the day off (me) and headed on in, staff warm and friendly and the food is excellent, no such thing as tinned mushrooms like some cafes, this is the real deal, fresh food cooked to order, give it try

Sunday morning breakfast was great. Had the full cooked breakfast and it was one of the best I have ever had. Good quality of meat, the sausages were good and the haggis was awesome. The wife had scrambled eggs on avocado and toast, she also liked it very much.

A great place to stop off for lunch. It’s dog friendly which is a great advantage. It was quite busy at lunchtime. The waiter took our lunch order but they lost the order after realising that there were no food on our table. But it was quickly rectified. The tea cake was delicious and it’s the best I’ve had. It was filled with sultanas and cinnamon. We also had the tomato and red pepper soup with a toasted panini. The soup was hot and delicious!

Nice wee cafe, with good food. Also, next to a large car park, which is very handy.

This place is great. We dropped in with a dog in a pushchair and they were happy to seat us in the cafe. I ordered an old day breakfast pizza which really was one another level. My son had a full Scottish breakfast which he was blown away with. My wife had a cheese and tomato pizza and my daughter had a ham and cheese toastie. Everything was fantastic and then we went for cake afterwards too 🤣 Picked up some bread to take away along with a slab if focaccia. We enjoyed the food and service so much, we came back the next day where I got a haggis and cheese panning which was a taste revelation. Can't recommend this place highly enough, thanks for everything

A great find. We’ve been looking for a stopping off place on our journeys up to Scotland for some time and now we’ve found it. Great location with a big free car park on site just off the main road. Lovely welcome and a great choice of food and drinks. We were mid morning brunching so we had granola bowl (really fresh fruits and crunchy granola on top of luxurious yogurt and a haggis and chorizo omelette which was perfect. They do pizza as well so will check that out on a return journey. The coffee was good, could probably get a bit more out of their machine if they get it dialled in and a bit more barista training. But really that is a small detail. Makes a change. I’m a fan.

Lovely little stopping point to view the Abbey. Tasty food, friendly service and very clean.
The ‘Jose McTavish Omelette’ with cheese, chorizo, haggis and a side of sour dough toast hit the spot!

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Fresh, tasty and generously portioned meals - we had soup and toasties/panninis. It's also doggy friendly. We will definitely return.

We stopped here during a short visit to Jedburgh on our way to meet up with family. We had what I can only describe as one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had from the takeaway section. It was thick crust, not salty and made with fresh ingredients. Staff very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Served by a very friendly woman who made a delicious cup of coffee on a cold winters day, can’t say anything about the food but will definitely be coming back here for their service / atmosphere!

We visit the cafe frequently, it’s family friendly and the food is always delicious with a great variety of cakes and a superb menu. Homemade pizza is the best even its a take away. The side hatch is great for ice creams and coffee whilst out walking.

Excellent thick delicious soup, and the toasties and sandwiches went down a treat with our children. Great place, we have been before and chose to visit again. Lovely spot by the river.
