The Haldi

The Haldi is THE place to go if you want the very finest Indian cuisine. What’s more, it’s not in the centre of town but in a beautiful village with ample free parking right outside. I have been using this restaurant regularly for years for both takeaways and dining in and the food and service is of a consistently high standard. The dishes are absolutely divine and Maz is always happy to accommodate all your culinary needs if you want to create something that isn’t on the menu or make a recommendation if you want to try a new dish. I can honestly say I’ve never had a meal here that isn’t top notch. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my curry and the 5 star hygiene rating and frequently busy restaurant reflect this.

Customer service was 10 out of 10 along with the food! Exceptional! Really pleased we picked this restaurant. Restaurant ambience is lovely. Defo one to check out if you haven't already.

Booked in for Christmas Day dinner for four at short notice. Food was great. Actually the food was fantastic.The staff were only too happy to help and gave very good advice on different dishes to try. We were like kids in a candy store. We were ordering anything and everything off the menu just to try And we were not disappointed. We will certainly be booking again in February March and also again next Christmas. We could not fault the restaurant The best ever Christmas meal we had out. Great work guys see you soon

Absolutely love going here!! Went here many times now and the food is always amazing! Matching the service. If you want to try something new, all the staff are happy to recommend a variety of different dishes to try. Various deals throughout the week which keeps the cost down without affecting the experience.

I came here with my family of 12 for my mum’s 50th birthday. The food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. They were very attentive from the second we walked through the door. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area

What a fantastic restaurant. Food is amazing, both eat in and take away. Maz and the team are always on hand to recommend dishes and ensure you have a great meal. They also have some amazing deals - Sunday and Wednesday banquet as well as Tapas nights.

Great food and service at a very good price was the first visit after it changed management and wished I had gone before.

Automatically the best restaurant ive ever been to the food is delicious there the service couldnt be any better. Honestly this restaurant is 10/10 and would definitely recommend to everyone. There is this waiter who has a side parting and moustache and is a smiley lad he is a great waiter so thank you to him for making the time even better

First time visiting new haldi tonight, me and my husband have been going to the same Indian restaurant for 20 years, and no other has compared, untill tonight.
Food was perfect, service was spectacular and the general dine in experience was spot on.
We will definitely be returning in future

Came to new haldi last night with my family, food was tremendous 10/10 for sure everytime, service was 10 as well, I would also like to mention a young smiley chap with upper lip hair with great and polite service, we forgot to ask his name but shout out to him! Definitely will recommend

Great food, lovely staff and a very clean and stylish restaurant.

Regulars of the delicious take aways, we decided to eat in for our daughter's (11th) birthday. The restaurant was spotless, excellent service, food and atmosphere. We all had a wonderful evening, made better by Maz and his team. They even surprised our daughter, and us, with a sparkler and complimentary dessert - wonderful! Highly recommended.

One of the best buffets I have been to recently, the food tasted like the old school curries that you used to get in the 80s and 90s which were far superior to what you get these days.

The staff was super friendly and accommodated for our baby daughter on Mother's day.

Will definitely be going back for the buffet and a la carte.

I ordered early as New Years Eve tends to be busy, set my delivery time to 8pm, they were actually 5 mins early, delivery service with a smile and the food was piping hot! It was absolutely beautiful as well! Will order from them again too!
