Springfield Medical Centre

I've been going here for 10 years and I definitely get why it has 2 stars, but honestly things have really improved. I did an e-consult last night, was called early in the morning, and seen in the afternoon. Minimal waiting, friendly staff. It's actually a really nice turnaround story so well done for everyone involved.

Really good doctors surgery always get back to calls & messages, helpful, polite & friendly. Reception staff are very kind, patient & they will go out of their way to help. I've been at the same GP since 2006 despite changing address & area in 2019 I've continued to stay here, I'm very grateful for this surgery.

We have been going to the doctors here for the past 2 years and have had great care for ourselves and our newborn, who is now 1 year old. Like any clinic in London, they are very busy, but I think staff handle this very well. For same day appointments simply show up before 8am and you will most likely be seen or at least get a call back from the doctor. If its a real emergency I suggest to always go to St Thomas A&E.

Definitely better than 3 years ago! Thank you to the receptionist that booked my 2yr old son on the same day and this was around 1pm. Was expecting to be told no more appointments and to be sent to the hubs or the walk in centre. Was lucky in this occasion :).

I have been working as Physical Activity Instructor (via external contract, therefore I am not directly employed in this centre), under those premises fro some time.
I am happy to say that the venue shows good standards in being clean, tidy and professional. Staff i really helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
Every time I go there, it is always a pleasure.

This is not a forum to vent peeps 🤣... really nice building, good location, pleasant staff, multiple options to choose from. Thanks surgery... NHS is undervalued in general but when the tough gets going they really do care! x

I've not had any problems getting a GP appointment or seeing the clinic nurse. I've always found their service prompt and professional.

Reception staff are so helpful. Just like every other Doctors the best way to get a same day appointment is to call at 8am or go and que up at aprox 7:45( no later).The best Dr is Dr.Ohletz , she is caring, passionate and knows her stuff! Even when rushed of her feet with appointments she has a calm listening and not rushing. As well as working within time frame.

Good experience so far with reception staff who answered phone immediately when called at 8:10am. Helpful with booking appointment, but could only book for the same week, not longer in advance.

GP who helped me was a lady, which is appropriate for the health issue I had. She was understanding and polite with my explanations, made sure to ask enough questions to confirm the diagnosis, and even arranged further testing as a preventive measure, which most health instances often forget about. Fully satisfied here.

Down side of this practise is opening times are not good enough for those in full time employment, and should be extended into the evening, for example, at least 2 days until 20:00

My experience with them was generally pleasant. The doctor was very friendly and approachable and we had a good laugh. However, they do come up with some stuff you just can't believe. I suppose it happens wherever you go.

Ability to book online is great. GP fantastic, good listener and quick diagnosis. Some members of the reception team are not the best.
