Great pub, live music, theatre and good service. The lobster roll is the best and such good value for the quality. Truffle mac and cheese really really tasty and the chicken biscuit is addictive.

My go to pub in Clapham. Live music and entertainment with an excellent amount of outdoor space and a well priced and fairly extensive range of drinks options.
The new menu has well portioned snack sizes. The lobster roll is the best and such good value for the quality. Truffle mac and cheese is really really tasty and the chicken biscuit is something totally different but in a good way.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for a fun relaxed night out.

The food's nice, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the stage is big for a pub.

Great evening of music with Sheila's selectors. Lovely venue set back from the Clapham high street.

My go to pub in Clapham. An excellent amount of outdoor space with a well priced and good range of drinks options. The new menu has well portioned snack sizes to keep the stomach suitably lined. It's about a 5 minute walk off the high street.

I saw a band called Solace here. They were really good. Originally from Isle of Wight so if you get the chance to see them then do so!! Good atmosphere, friendly staff.

Love this place. Me and my band have played here a few times - always a great time. Good selection of beers as well, and the theatre is a lovely touch supporting up and coming playwrites and actors.

It was a very nice pub with a high variety of beers. We enjoyed ourselves, we drunk we danced and also there was a karaoke night so we singed (sorry for that).
The ambience of this place is amazing.
The prices were logic.
I am going to visit it again for sure next time I'll go to London.

Went to an hour long comedy show (WIP for two comedians) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The downstairs is spacious, the upstairs is cozy and intimate with the comedians, and it's really close to public transport.

Overall, I would highly recommend and plan to go back for a comedy again!

The Bread & Roses is a hidden gem of a pub, tucked away on a residential Clapham street, with friendly staff and a brilliant little theatre on the top floor. Great atmosphere, good menu and drink selection.
We saw Abandoman - a musical comedy improv show - in the theatre. Very clever and original, he had us laughing solidly all the way through.
A great night of entertainment in a fab venue!

Found this place by chance. Popped in for a quick drink and stayed for the theatre. Great vibe, great staff, quite a unique gem. Worth a trip away from the main hustle of Clapham High Street

Great pub! Has an entertainment part at the back with different acts! Had such a great time listening to people of all ages do their magic be at music or poetry! A must do.... different to the usual dinner and drinks night! Give it a go! It's even a dog friendly pub!

Cozy pub, with live music some nights. Happened to be there when there was live music and it was amazing. Cheap prices for wine and an old video game to play.

Excellent venue and a great range of ales. We went to see a play in the theatre upstairs and loved the performance, space and atmosphere. We got to enjoy live music while we we're waiting too. Highly recommended.

3 of us went as a " walk in " Thursday 5pm first week after opening outside after Covid.

The staff were very helpful, as we hadn't booked, they explained that all tables were booked, but we could have one for an hour and a half until the booked time.

The party were a little early turning up, but not a problem they found somewhere else for us to sit.

Good social distancing and cleaning.

Definitely worth a visit, but book😉
