I had booked an appointment this morning to get a battery replaced, but I couldn't get the car to BSE. I got a lift and Aaron was extremely helpful, sourced the correct battery as I would take it away and fit and cancelled my appt. Good man and the sort of staff member you want to hold on to.

Restored my faith in Halfords.
There’s a guy working at this store, Jason, who has restored my faith in Halfords. I hadn’t been to Halfords for years due to previous bad experience (not at this store) but it was late on a Friday and I was near Bury and didn’t know where else to go.
Jason was excellent. He is passionate about bikes, offered excellent advice and tips. Was knowledgeable about what needed to be done and generally did a great service.

I visited the retail store yesterday after being advised by a lady on reception at the Halfords Auto Centre (where my lease car company had advised me to go) that they could not help me with a simple oil top up. Upon visiting the retail store I was assisted by a young man and a young lady, both of whom went out of their way to help me, despite them not usually dealing with lease cars so not having the relevant info in their computer system. A quick call through to the car leasing company and the lovely customer service gent was able to advise how this the issue could be resolved. His customer service skills were truly outstanding, as was his excellent efficiency. Ditto for the lovely young lady who then put the oil into the engine and checked that the levels were correct. She was extremely knowledgeable, explaining what she was doing throughout. I truly hope both Assistants read this review, they will know who they are! 😊 thank you both

The sales/technical person was very efficient and fitted the 2 headlight bulbs very quickly. I was very please with the high level of customer service.

Needed new speakers fitted in my car as I'd blown two (oops!) Popped in one Saturday, initially had to ask for someone that knew what they were talking about as the young lads I first spoke to told me I'd have to take the speakers out myself in order for them to assit me!!! Thankfully I was put onto to Fabio who is brilliant, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't totally happy with the speakers initially but he rectified it and now I couldn't be happier. I'm enjoying my car more now because of him. The best customer service I've ever received - thank you so much.

Very good experience at the Bury St Edmunds branch - dipped xenon headlamp bulbs replaced by expert technician a few minutes on very difficult to access units.

The man on the till was exceptionally helpful to me regards engine oil, purchase of torch . Thankyou

Excellent service. Geordie efficiently ordered a specific cycle helmet for me as there were none in stock. I had a call a couple of days later to advise me it was in store. Stress free shopping! Thank you :)

The manager Phil is one of the best Managers I've witnessed at his "works".

Phil not only takes best care of his customers but he seems to be the same with his team. (I know that many of his team have benefited from his Customer Service training & have been promoted up to other branches)

Love Halfords - battery fitted on the spot, easy booking system and good price

Went in for a rear wiper blade. Was greeted by a young chap called Matt. He asked if he could help and showed me the tablet picked out the blade for me and asked if I needed anything else. Served me at the till and opened the door for me and my baby to leave. Great service thank you Matt. Just what I needed.

Great fitting service by Halfords sorry I've forgotten the guys name. Great job done wiring all hidden away nicely top service and a great guy thanks again. Fabio was the guy your a Star keep up the great work and service.

Lovely lady with blue hair (sorry I didn't get your name) was very helpful with fitting my new wipers and showing me how to do it myself. Really friendly interaction and demeanour!

The Staff were super friendly and very helpful. We actually came back to purchase a child’s safety seat due to the price but the staff that helped us, answered questions and walked us through how to install them was the reason we came back. This location was clean, had a great presentation and an even more wonderful staff on hand. We will definitely be back soon. The store had much more than I was expecting. I recommend this location for convenience and great staff.

Rodrigo was amazing! Couldn't do enough to help. Very obviously customer focused lad. Had a real calm, knowledgable aire about him which was fab. Went above and beyond to make sure the battery fitted in my car would meet all safety requirements etc. Would definitely use the store again.

I received a phone call in the morning say that the stores entire system was down, having had my car booked in. As this was the only day I could do, they were able to take cash for the work. The technician, Fabio, who did the work was fantastic, really efficient and knew what he was doing.

Excellent service from the guys at Halfords. Tricky removal of a headlamp which they persisted with and got there in the end. Very polite and friendly and extremely reasonable price.

At my most recent visit, I stopped in because my car indicated to be overheating. The staff member helped with a car check in identifying and topping up my coolant, giving me more time to troubleshoot the issue in the near future.
The staff were very accommodating for my car stereo installation. After they found they’d ordered the wrong parts, they waived the cost of ordering the correct ones and booked up an afternoon to make sure it was properly installed. Very pleased with the customer service.
