Nicki our tour director did a fantastic job. She listens and give instructions to 41 guests group tour. She makes sure everyone have a great time with a funny stories, explaining the historical place that we visited very good and give everyone snacks and small gifts. Adam the driver did excellent job also.
Cost Saver is highly recommended.
Enjoy the trip very much. Nicky and Adam go above and beyond 😇🤗👏🤩😍

My husband and I have used Costsaver Tours. We went on a 7 day tour from London, Paris, Switzerland and Italy. And our tour guide, named Steve Fowler was the BEST tour guide we ever had. He has so much knowledge in European history and very much in a loop in every place/country we visited.
I highly recommend him and Cost saver Tours.
Your life to travel would be much easier and less stress!

Although Costsaver cancelled the holiday at the last moment which was very disappointing the staff I dealt with were exemplary in helping to organise the original trip, and were without doubt the same with expediting my refund.
A company I hope to use again in the future largely because the young lady agent made me feel secure that they had my best interests at heart, a rare thing in service industries today.

Do you want to know the real inside story of THE COSTSAVER TOUR COMPANY? I spent 9 long days with them, so I know what they are really all about.
Basically Costsaver Tours is a disappointment. Mainly, the quality of the hotels is what's hideous. The hotels are 2 or 3 stars, small for 2 people, old style. heavily needing basic remodeling and far, far away from any city center. The rooms are cramped, old and ugly with no safe, 2 thin towels and no space to even open your suitcase. Costsaver went absolutely cheap on selecting hotels in order to save a buck instead of providing decent accommodations to its customers. Shoddy 2 star dingy HOTELS, are my number 1 biggest complaint with this tour company.
On the first night of the Highlights of France tour, it started off with a decent hotel Novatel for 2 nights, but it was far from any Paris attractions. It was literally 10 stops away on the Metro with an additional 5 blocks to walk. At least it was modern and spacious.
The hotel in Lyon was absolutely hideous. The headboard was like spray painted black corrugated iron. It was incredibly unv vCard small and run down with no safe, and not enough space to open a suitcase. It listed for €61 on Bookinc... that's how cheap it was.
The hotel in Nice called the Campanile Nice Airport was another ugly, run down old mess. The lobby was modern and spacious so it made you think the rooms would be nice too. But that's where it ended. The rooms were ugly, old small with no safes, hairdryer not working, 2 thin ugly towels and soft uncomfortable beds. It had dirty, dingy, filthy carpets. It was so small a chihuahua couldn't fit in it. It was very far from the city center with raging airport noise all night and construction in the morning.
I tried to call the lobby on this little dial phone. I pressed every number, because there was no instructions and 0 did not work. After reaching the front desk I asked for more towels. Do you know what they said? Come down and get it yourself. How is that for service?
BTW.. The breakfast was quite nice with sausage, bacon, eggs yogurt nuts fruit and all kinds of bread.
The Mercedes bus was new and beautiful. If onky the hotels matched the comfort and bewness of the bus. The driver was quite skilled. The tour guide Bruno was nice as well.
When I got my original instructions, they said our luggage would be taken up to our room, but no, they weren't. We had to lug them up steps ourselves, breaking our backs.
Did you know you have to pay for every tour? That $2300 I paid didn't cover much. Tours cost another 500€ and that's with not taking 5 extra tours or it would have been 900€ total so don't forget to factor that into the cost.
The hotel in Avignon was an IBIS and it was much more modern amd spacious, but then in Lourdes the hotel was cramped and old again.
This is the first time I've ever booked with COSTSAVERS. My friend chose it because of the awesome itinerary.
Unfortunately, I paid $2300 for 12 days and got hideous hotels. I guess I just paid for the bus ride, which was actually a nice Mercedes brand new bus, but I wouldn't put my cat in those hotel rooms. Having a nice comfortable modern hotel room is part of the fun of travel.
Dear Costsaver, Can you Make the trip enjoyable, by booking a higher quality of hotel. Many were complaining but few will say what's
wrong. So don't be cheap. The only one you're saving 'the cost' for is for your own company. Costsaver isnt a bargain when you figure in the old hotels. The poor guests pay top dollar for cheap, dilapidated hotels. Not to mention, they make you drag your luggage off the bus and up to your room with no help!
They said they would pay for our airport transfer, let's see if they do.
The BEST thing about COSTSAVER is the ITINERARY and the PASSENGERS, who are diverse and interesting.
The WORST part of COSTAVER IS the UGLY GROSS HOTELS.
Take my advice as a Google Reviewer of the 8th level with 34 million views.
Pay a little more and go with
GATE 1. They are classier and take care of you in a much better style.
