Very nice old church in the centre of Kingston.

I went there today to look for the memorial of the Davidson family as mentioned on the clan Davidson website

www.clandavidson.org.uk/resources/

After chatting with the Verger, he pointed me to the large memorial which is now positioned behind the cafe serving area.

I managed to take some photos of the inscriptions which are still very legible.

The memorials are for Duncan Davidson his wife Lucy and his brother Henry. It states their dates of death are 1799, 1777 and 1781 respectively. However the date on the memorial is MDCCCXXVII ie 1827.

There is also a memorial to Elizabeth Caroline beloved wife of Henry Davidson aged 56 with a date of 4th March 1828.

A stunning church which is steeped in amazing history. Beautiful Stained Glass Windows and the freedom to explore the church. Wonderful Cafe/Coffee Shop inside which is well worth a visit for refreshments in the settings of an incredible building with a huge part of British History which happened right there!

I like this church, it's open all day and anyone is welcomed. They have a cafe inside and a children's play area. You can just sit there and chill out. Has toilets. Outside there are activities for children, I think you pay for that.

Stopped into this beautiful church today as there was a sign outside saying church cafe open, so with my daughter we went inside. The cafe was lovely and we had a cup of tea, a hot chocolate and a slice of millionaires cake 😁😁😁

I had a walk around the church and took some lovely pics too ☺☺☺

Before we left, my daughter needed a toilet which the church also has, which was very clean and tidy 👍👍👍

Thank you so much ❤

It is a really wonderful place. It’s not only the building (that is gorgeous) but the atmosphere you will find is absolutely friendly and familiar. The bar inside will you accomodate as if you are an old friend. The lady who is there to give you information is so warm. There’s a short video that tells you about the importance of that church. Kings from the past, the current queen itself have been crowned in this church. I really recommend you to visit All Saints Church, you’ll love it.

I popped in after my run for the Easter Sunday service and caught the last 30 minutes.
It was very nice, lovely sounding choir , and solo music and acoustics, great atmosphere. I will make sure I catch the full service next time!
( I stood away from the main seating as I had arrived late and didn't want to disrupt )

A beautiful medium sized church in the middle of historic Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. Church contains a lovely cafe with home cooked cakes and sandwiches. Lovely and quiet for contemplation and prayer. The residing Vicar is always around to offer advice or even a quick history lesson. This is well worth a visit even if it is for the history of all the early kings that were crowned here. My wife was in the Bentall’s shopping centre so I escaped to here from the hustle and bustle to enjoy 40 mins of peace! Disabled access too. Well worth a visit to this beautiful church with gorgeous stained glass windows.

Attend concerts there - played by the Kingston Chamber Orchestra. The church itself has a fascinating and very long history. Worth looking at its website.

Beautiful church, lovely stained Windows, and grand Roman arches. The church dates back to 12th century. It is well maintained and worth a visit to enjoy the architecture, attend a concert or just for a coffee.

It's a beautiful old Saxon church. Every year there's a fabulous Xmas market in a big tent just in front.

This has always been an inspiring place of worship but the interior restructuring and decoration of recent years has brightened the space in so many ways as to encourage and enable much wider community use, as befits a church of this location.

Very nice old English church. Offers a drink and a bite in their social café and welcomes everyone to visit their free heritage gallery to learn about Kingston's history. Highly recommend!

The church is the historic centre of town, and my Christening venue. It is still the hub of the community and my visit there was to visit the cafe, a cheap but relaxing venue.

Lovely calm, relaxed vibe. Escape the hustle and bustle of the high street and enjoy a delicious cake and hot drink.

The staff are friendly. There are lots of chairs and a toilet.
