Absolutely amazed by this place, so many amazing works of art, and over the top baroque furniture from mostly pre-revolution France. I saw other reviews saying this is a small place, it is definitely not, the exhibitions kept on going for ages. Also the armoury is not usually my cup of tea, but this one really impressed me!
And on top of that, you can just walk straight in, no entrance fee, which for me who doesn’t earn that much, is really helpful. Definitely recommend!

One of my favourite London galleries! Soo underrated and so beautiful. It's rarely ever really busy when I go so it has a calm atmosphere. There is such a wide range of paintings that I end up spending hours here.

A hidden gem in the heart of London. I'm surprised why being a Londoner I didn't know about this museum earlier.
A must visit place for a classic art collection. Entrance is free and no queues. A cafe and shop is available inside the well- kept mansion but we didn't go there. It's hardly a 10 minute walk from bond street station.

most beautiful museum/house I have ever visited! the interiors, intricate decorations, paintings, atmosphere - it's very special and unique! also, entry is free, so you can come by whenever you want to sit in the great hall and watch the artists paint those beautiful paintings hung on the walls!

PS: I came back this year during Christmas time and they added decorations and Christmas trees in each room, which was magnificent! would recommend visiting in December if you like Christmas decorations :)

Amazing collection of paintings, porcelain and furniture, mostly from French royalty. Completely free, but make sure to take the tour otherwise they don’t let you into all the rooms. The tour felt a bit too long and tended to overfocus on a single artwork in the room, but the guide was clearly enthusiastic about the subject and had a great deal of knowledge.

Small, elegant and eclectic collection of mostly baroque art. The building itself is a well kept mansion with wonderful Christmas decoration - if you’re lucky and visit during the holidays. Don’t miss on the spacious cafe in the roofed court. All in all, one of London’s best addresses.

Fantastic museum. Packed with paintings, armour and other antiquities from European history. So many historical objects crammed into two floors. My new favourite museum in London.

A great collection of baroque and rococo art. The armour halls are amazing with beautiful ivory inlays and the turner room had some i had never seen before. The whole building and decorating is extravagant and interesting. Definitely worth it.

Impressive, amazing, gorgeous.

This is a very unique attraction.
Lot of artwork, porcelain, painting, armour from medieval era, swords, bows, posh furniture, etc...

This collection is really amazing, definitely worth a visit.

Staff is helpful, they have good knowledge, very friendly.

We were amazed.
Several hours could be spent at The Wallace collection. It is seriously a huge and very impressive collection.
hundreds and hundreds of items in each categories. It is impossible to remember everything. Too many.

Standards, cleanliness, quality is extremely high. Obviously.

There is also a Caffe locally within the building to have a break if needed.

Souvenir shop is also located in the building, impressive gifts and memories could be bought.

At least half day should be allowed to visit this magnificent collection.

Excellent collection and severely underrated! I can’t understand why people don’t speak about this place more in conversations about London’s best museums. The Wallace was recently voted the world’s best hidden gem.

Entry is free and there is a free one-hour guided tour you can take to get explanations about some of the highlights features in the collection, including some excellent medieval and renaissance works.

The collection showcases works by Rembrandt, Gainsborough, Turner, Velázquez and Canaletto to name a few.

There is also a lovely at the back of the museum.

The best art gallery I found in London so far.
The Wallace Collection boasts an incredible number of unique art pieces from all over Europe, aesthetically arranged in a seemingly endless series of baroque rooms.
I first visited a few weeks ago, and I have already returned 4 times since - a definite recommend!

Some truly incredible classics here from the greatest painters and furniture makers! But you have to take lunch in the beautiful and very fairly priced cafe. Fab cuisine too!!! And our special gilding and numbers at 5 and 6 Spanish Place adjacent!

Great museum. It took us a few years to get here but it was worth it. Highlights include oil paintings from the 14th to the late 19th centuries by artists such as Titian, Velázquez, Rubens, and Van Dyck; princely arms and armor; and one of the finest collections of 18th-century French paintings and decorative arts. Visitors can also enjoy superb medieval and Renaissance objects, including Limoges enamel, maiolica, glass, and bronzes.

Its a beautiful collection. The rooms are so artistically decorated with such magnificent pieces. The open deck cafe was lovely. Spend some time to know more about art.

Fantastic museum, well worth a visit. Plenty of friendly and knowledgeable staff, a wealth of beautiful exhibits mostly from 17th to 19th centuries. I went mostly for the armoury galleries which were wonderful, although in need of better lighting which I was told was coming soon. The restaurant is also very good with attentive staff and plenty of comfy seating, and a good menu. They were a bit cheeky in adding a mandatory service charge even for a cup of coffee, but as the prices were reasonable and the service excellent it was ok.

A huge mansion belonging to ultrarich aristocrats, now thankfully turned into a gallery and museum. The house itself is a stark reminder how the top 1% lived, and continue to live.
The collection itself is a great mixture of different things.
Highlight for me was weapons and armour dating from between the 10th (!) and 19th centuries. A mixture of lots of Persian and Indian, some Japanese, and loads of European. Swords, daggers, shields, maces, etc, mostly with incredibly detailed metalwork. Perhaps more suits of armour than I've seen anywhere outside of the Tower of London.
Lots of oil paintings by Canaletto, Turner, Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens, Velazquez etc.
Also lots of porcelain, ceramics, luxurious French furniture etc.

An excellent and eclectic mix of rather fabulous things, from armour to ceramics, silver to portraiture and beyond.
You need at least 2 hours here, probably longer to see it all. The armoury is particularly impressive, if rather gruesome at points. A reminder that humans have been devising new and interesting ways of killing each other since year dot.

A sublime day out ...a kind of mini National Gallery with a wonderful atrium for tea/lunches . A wonderful secret ....well maybe not a secret ... but away from typical London tourist attractions. Enjoy.

A bit of a hidden gem, tucked away from the usual tourist trails. A vast collection of art of all kind, with something for everyone. My favourites were the intricate paintings of Venice by Canaletto, of which there are many. A must for art lovers, and it's free!

The paintings were spectacular. Each room had its own flair and style with some of the best wallpapers. Highly recommend this place. Definitely a hidden gem in London!!
