Marco's New York Italian London Bridge

After reading the horrendous reviews we almost cancelled, but I'm really glad we didn't.
Staff were very friendly & attentive. Atmosphere was lovely & the Afternoon Tea was very appetising & delicious.
I think people expect too much these days & are very critical, especially after reading the reviews, but for what we received & paid for, we were delighted. I'd definitely recommend

I don't understand why the rating for this restaurant is quite low. Its actually pretty decent. I am impressed and would go again. Feel free to see pics (medium well steak I asked for and that's what I got)

We absolutely loved the food and service here we were almost put off by other reviews after buying this as part of a gift package on buy a gift we almost didn't go in. We would have missed out on one of the best meals I have ever had. The starters were huge and full of flavour really tasty, the mains were also delicious and the dessert was to die for. The restaurant was stunning inside , clean and the tables were wide. The bar area was beautiful and the main entrance was welcoming . We came in the back entrance and was put off but the outside look but honestly when you walk inside it's like being in a completely different place.
Do not let the negative reviews put you off you will be missing out.

We visited the restaurant for a 3 course meal with bottomless prosecco on a Thursday evening at 5pm. Whilst we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated as they weren't officially open yet, the staff we very attentive once they started service and the food, oh my goodness. Portion sizes were just right and the food was SO tasty, it was cooked well, served hot and we didn't have to wait long in between courses either. Our bottomless prosecco was topped up quickly for the full 90 minutes too. The whole experience was lovely and whilst the outside of the restaurant could be prettier, don't let that put you off, it's well worth it 😁. A side note, it doesn't say on the menu but the wings are hot!!

We went here as part of a voucher along with the View from the Shard. After reading reviews, we were a bit concerned but couldn't have had a more different experience to the poor reviews on here.

The food choices were good and food was tasty. The thing that made our evening was the staff. They were incredibly polite, welcoming, kind and went above and beyond with our 11 month old baby. They were just excellent!

James was great, he made our experience special. His service was second to none; he was very knowledgeable on the menu and the selection of teas. He was also able to cater to allergens very flexibly. I would definitely come back and would recommend this to all of my friends because of his expertise.
The only downside to this was that we had to book a few months in advance, but it was worth it.

Very nice place. Staff was nice. I too my sister for her birthday. They sang happy birthday to her and wrote on her desert plate happy birthday which was nice. The food was very nice. The restaurant was part of a hotel which for me was ok but I wanted a restaurant. It was still very nice.

I had a lovely dinner with my husband and my 13 years old son. We enjoyed the food, the cocktails and service was excellent. A big thank you to Pramodh and Ben for looking after us. Will come here again.

We went for afternoon tea and I recommend it 100%. One of our friends gifted us as an experience and I would definitely send a friend here 🤣🤣.
We had salmon and cream cheese, ham, tuna and corn, tomato bruschetta, scone, carrot cake and macarons.

Yo can have tea refills, however, coffee isn't included.

We arrived at the Murcure London Bridge Hotel middayish and within five minutes were met by a greeter from Marco's. She welcomed us and assured us of our reservation for the evening. At 7.15 we presented ourselves at the restaurant with the Buyagift voucher to be welcomed again and given an explanation of the menu. When our choices arrived they were very well presented and tasted delicious. The service was excellent and the whole evening could not have been better.

Having never eaten at Marco's before I was totally impressed. The loaded nachos were amazing, the New York burger & fries were soooooo tasty and finally the baked cheesecake was the best cheesecake I've ever eaten!

Nice place and nice food although it's as good as we had the day before in Pizza Express. Very quiet atmosphere but for me, I prefer a bit of noise, laughter, organised chaos, and seeing people rushing around. A nice place if you want to eat correctly- meaning not shouting when talking with each other, and not stretching across the table to try your friend's food, and telling stories that will make you laugh out loud. But, it's posh nosh although we had the cheaper menu. The place just feels it needs a bit of life, upstairs anyway where maybe the cheaper menu customers are put.

Had lunch with my four year old. Food portions was great and tasty. Seating was comfortable. I was happy.

Amazing food, friendly staff and even a candle in my dessert for mine and hubby's birthday..can't wait to visit again

Went on a deal with buyagift and was very pleasantly surprised as the last similar dining offer I’d bought was very underwhelming. The food was great, generous portions of Italian/American comfort/bistro food. Service was top notch and staff were exceptionally helpful. Would recommend.

I don't often leave reviews and didn't have high expectations coming here because of the review BUT we were pleasently surprised!

Starter:
Ribs, amazing! Very tasty.

Main:
Spaghetti Bolognese, full of flavour! My husband had the American burger and although nice he said it would have been better with onions in.

Dessert:
Brownie, delicious! Presented very well too.

I would definitely recommend. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
