Returned to this spot after five years. Superb cocktails, delicious seafood pie and perfectly cooked scrumptious rib eye steak. Moorish sticky ginger pudding with chilli pineapple. Excellent service. Will be returning soon!

As pubs go, in the local area, this one is one of my favourites. The outside space is closed in, but it's a nice space and has a good atmosphere.
Service makes it, the staff here are always really friendly and always remember our previous visits.
Food is consistently good, again, for a pub. The steak on match day (Twickenham rugby) was a particular highlight.

A great choice for a family celebratory meal...from a two week old baby to 78 year old grandfather and a toddler and four more adults in between. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely - efficient, patient and accommodating to our needs, I am dairy free and I spilt glass of red wine. Thank you.

Fantastic addition to the Richmond restaurant scene. I've had the cheese souffle, oysters, cod risotto, and chicken breast all of which were cooked perfectly. I really appreciated the elegant ambience created by the white table cloths and table lamps. The service was also friendly and attentive, very reasonable prices for both food and drink even in today's inflationary economy. All this without the pretension. I'll definitely return.

Took my brother and his wife here for Sunday lunch when they were visiting Richmond. Really enjoyed the Sunday roast and friendly service. Kudos to the whole team for a professional service.

Yum! Yum! & YUM! Such a wonderful lunch - great atmosphere thanks to the front of house team and fab food thanks to the chef and kitchen team. My mama reckoned it was the best meal out she has eaten in ages

Excellent service, good banter and attentive on 16th Jan.
Interesting and varied food choices. Duck Wellington, cod and prawn dishes were all very good, with healthy but not excessive sized portions.
Good beers and cocktails and clean and warm atmosphere. Recommend this place!

Our team booked in for a Christmas lunch.

My expectations were for a standard meal of usual pub-like prportions, but what we got was more than stellar!

The team were super friendly and super accomodating. Not only did they bend over backwards for all our dietary needs but they also ran out to get fresh ginger when one of the group ordered a whisky-lemon-ginger combo.

The food was yummy and finessed (no christmas cake doorstops!) and we all left the pub contented!

Fantastic oysters for starters. And the best desserts we've ever had. There was a few hairs in mine and my friends starter, which was a downer but the manager apologized profusely and handled the situation very professionally.
Every staff member was really excellent, polite and fantastic at their job. Especially the polish lady with blonde hair & the young guy with angelic looking skin.

Lovely pub with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The kitchen was closed when I went but I look forward to going again and sampling their delicious looking menu. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, especially Bella. Thank you!

Hadn't booked but they fitted us in ( table of 9) within 30 minutes , amazing food and service , sorry if we were a but noisy !

Celebrated my Fathers 72nd birthday here and it was exceptional. Amazing food, great service and beautiful terrace. Would highly recommend.

A hidden gem. Looked like a decent place when we just popped in for lunch, was not expecting the food to be quite so good. Really delicious 2 course set menu. Sat in the terrace at the back on a nice summer's day, lovely staff, we will definitely be back.

The tartare sauce and mushy peas for the fish and chips was divine. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. The lamb was tender and full of flavour.

Great tasting British food. Had the Cheese Souffle and Duck Wellington, both dishes rich in flavour and a triumph in taste. Friends had the set menu that they equally enjoyed and is great value. Highly recommend this place.

Our first visit to the Britannia although we've lived in the area for some years. A first rate 'gastro' pub where the menu is unpretentious but uses good ingredients simply prepared, the staff are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is relaxed and the room (we were in the front bar) comfortable and compact. All in all a really good experience and we will certainly return.

Nice authentic pub. The food is traditional British/French gourmet without the premium price tag. Enjoyed my glass of wine as well. Currently it's my favourites Richmond gastropub.

Wonderful birthday dinner here on a busy Saturday night. Felt welcomed by staff and they remembered us throughout, felt like very personable service despite covid restrictions. Good spacing between tables and paper towels in the bathroom.

Upstairs feels more restaurant than pub, which was pleasant. Toilets were clean, and covid measures were mostly good, but could do with some polishing up in places (including maybe utilising the other door s an exit?).

Really lovely food, nice drinks too. Would recommend for veggies and non-veggies. Oysters were a special treat, really enjoyed those. Looking forward to a return visit.
