My favorite pub in London, hands down. Three times in London, always make a point to stop by here. Beautiful aesthetics, clean bathrooms, good food & drink, friendly staff, and fun trivia nights.

A fantastic venue to hold a party! It's a lovely private room, the communication organising this was great. We ordered some buffet food (the premium set, 25 for 60 people, supplied most people with some nibbles) which was really delicious, and the staff were lovely!! We were allowed to decorate and play our own music, and it really personalised our event. I would thoroughly recommend booking here.

Apart from that, the only draw backs are that it's down a flight of stairs so if you have any disabled attendees take that into consideration, and it would have been nice to have an extra bar staff who could support when the bar was busy and clear away glasses in-between. Was also warm at first, but I think they must have turned on the aircon.

I'd happily book again or suggest it to others. Thanks for giving me a lovely evening to remember.

Best of the Best! This fabulous English pub in the Primrose area was the epitome of what one would imagine an awesome pub could be. The food, the brew, the ambiance and the history instantly captivated us, so much so that we went twice in the same day, lunch and dinner.
No doubt that the genuine friendliness, professionalism and caring service of the staff was another big reason why. Lewis, Lidia and Maeva, thank you for making our first day in London so magical. Don’t be surprised to see us again during our short stay. Thank you!

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch today. My husband & I shared the mixed roast for two & it was delicious. Gorgeous surrounds, a very friendly and accomodating team. All in all a wonderful Sunday roast. We highly recommend.

A great Victorianesque pub tucked away between Belsize Park and Primrose Hill. A fine range of beers from both the keg and cask. This is a card only place, just a word of warning. A lovely looking bespoke menu with a wide variety of dishes on offer. The staff are lovely and proficient, most importantly with a smile!! I have enjoyed a lovely pint and love all the etched glass. A great pub, thank you.

Martha's bar at the Washington is a true hidden gem that recently underwent a stunning remodel. The new look is absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is modern and chic, creating a sophisticated and trendy atmosphere. The attention to detail in the remodel is evident, from the stylish furniture to the tasteful lighting. The staff remains as friendly and welcoming as ever and the drink selection is still top-notch, with an impressive array of cocktails, beers, and wines to choose from.

best pub in the area, beautiful decor and amazing service, recommend it to everyone in the vicinity. everyone was so lovely and attentive, fantastic drinks and the food was also delicious. can't wait to come back!!

What can I say…definitely one of the best pubs in the area. Food is always delicious, love how friendly the staff are. They do special events from time to time which I love. Go there and you won’t regret! Don’t forget to make a reservation as it can get busy!

A classic English pub that serves a delicious menu with cocktails and drinks !

I've been a couple of times in the last couple of months. The food is excellent, reasonably priced and service friendly. If you wish to eat, it's a good idea to reserve a table. I do like the 3 for £17 bar snack option.

Was served by Alex today - funny and friendly staff in a lovely location. Calm, laid back atmosphere and an excellent use of decor and design. Nothing negative to say here - drinks exceeded expectations - I recommend the expresso martini! Will definitely be returning whenever I find myself in the area. Definitely one of the places that are worth a trip regardless of how far you live. Pleasure to visit.

Lovely pub decoration and atmosphere. They took a booking for 10 people on a Friday for a Saturday lunch and housed us in a back room. Very lucky as the whole pub was full. Good to know if you are in the area. I would come here regularly if we lived closer.

Great pub with fantastic service. We hosted a private event in Martha's Bar, the downstairs speakeasy. All went very well, food was delicious and service very attentive. A great local pub!

I had a delightful dining experience at The Washington. The atmosphere was so lovely and inviting. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the waitress who served me, Nia. Her exceptional service went above and beyond, she also gave me great recommendations due to my dietary requirements, which was absolutely delicious. she was very friendly and attentive and made my our overall dining experience so much better. I look forward to returning and experiencing the exceptional hospitality and food once again!

The service was quick and efficient. The staff were very friendly and helpful when giving wine and food recommendations. We had a variety of starters because there was so many to choose from and 5 mains. They all came out on time and most importantly hot !

Popped into the pub by chance whilst out walking around the area with a friend of mine. What a good pit stop! Absolute delicious food, very friendly staff and chilled out athmosphere...have a try, well worth it:))

Good Sunday Roast, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service.

Arranged a party for 70 people in the event space downstairs. Very cool location (entrance through a secret bookshelf)! Bar staff were brilliant on the night and Antonia arranged a great spread of food. Would highly recommend as a function room!

This is by far the best pub in the area. The recent makeover has taken it to the next level. The staff are amazing and the landlady is absolutely amazing looks after everyone keeps her beer in tip top condition and the bar and toilets are spotless, well done for keeping our local lovely
