St Joseph's R C Primary School

I have 2 daughters that have now left this school, however, with the 2 of them put together they have been at the school for 12 years in total. And now i have a 4 year old that have just starated September 2018. During these 12 years , i have volunteered at the school for over 4 years , gone on school trips with the children and the teachers in order to help out and understand the school inside out. I realised then that , they do an amazing job for our children. Unlike other community schools, they help us with the up bringing of our children by a high percentage especially with displine for which is the hardest area to deal with at home . The way children are brought up at home, i think they have the best method on how do deal with our children. Because of the school's system, my daughters now attend private schools and they were able to fit in well simply because of st Joseph and a little help from me and my husband. When my daughters where leaving the school, they both cried as they did not want their primary life to end as they loved it at St Josephs. One of my daughter also did a school reunion recently and she also invited the teachers as she thought they made a difference in her life. So thank you so much St Joseph's for what you do and have done, please do not change it as its working.

This school is very good not only for the outstanding academic results of their children, but most important for the staff that runs the school, from the Headmaster, teachers, receptionists, and everybody that is part of this exemplary school that put not only their part but the extra mile need it to provide real example to the pupils. It is a privilege to have my children as part of this family where faith, values, knowledge and discipline are the pillars that drive the school.

I am very proud of this school and evidence support my feeling, according to the government figures published by the EveningStandard on 15 December 2016, St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School, George Row, Southwark, is one of the 5 top primary schools in London.

I love this school so much. I left it just in September this year and I am missing the school dearly. St Joseph's I will never ever forget you and how much you have shaped up my life. All those times Mr Macauley/Mrs Byrne told me off, I was molded into a better person, bit by bit. I hope my siblings are enjoying the school just as I did. :)

Our son attended this school from age 4 until 7 he went through an episode of wetting himself five times in two weeks. He was petrified to put his hand up to ask to go to the toilet😡 due to the fact that the teachers frowned upon pupils wanting to use the toilet during class times. But also encourage to drink water from their water bottles to keep hydrated. we ourselves have witnessed teachers shouting at the children, some even in the nursery. And have seen on a website two teachers at that time Who still work within this school now. It’s basically child abuse that still remains and continues to happen within the school system.
