Côte Watford

Delicious food when it arrived. Great choice of main menu dishes and especially the fixed price menu. We were a bit rushed for the theatre, so food was slow coming out but the waiter was so very lovely. Very patient with a very large group.

Excellent surprise with this place . They have a great value lunch meal 15£ for starter and main before 7pm and it’s well worth it . No substitute on the quality. Soup and salad were excellent , sea bass was one of the best I had in a long time and truffle chips were just the way I liked them. Bread and olives were very tidy too .

Only negatives are - the croutons in the salad are not ok and sliding the olives and bread into the bill without notification was abit of a surprise. Because we was offered bread like it was complimentary.

However ! Excellent place to go and will defiantly go again, worth every £

Starter bread was very tasty, loved the board of cheese, olives, pickles, tomatoes, pancetta and the crunch of the cracker. The pate tasted lovely, not a massive fan of pate but this one was one of the best I’ve had. The beef Bourguignon tasted amazing if the portion of meat could be slightly larger it would be perfect. Unfortunately dessert was a bit of a let down, the top of the crème brûlée didn’t have the beautiful crack when you hit it with the spoon. In addition there were some green strips on the crème brûlée which I wasn’t entirely sure what it was however it didn’t taste very good so I had removed it and the dessert would be better without it. Overall rating the starters and mains would give a solid 5 stars.

Cote Restaurant is a cozy spot nestled in the heart of the city, with warm lighting and rustic decor that sets the perfect ambiance for a delightful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the manager (Edgaras) greeted us with a warm smile and ensured that we were seated comfortably. Throughout our meal, the waiter ( Svet) and the Manager (Edgaras ) were attentive and friendly, offering helpful suggestions and making sure our glasses were never empty.
As for the food, it was absolutely fantastic! Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were simply divine. And let's not forget about dessert – the creme caramel was the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal.
Overall, Cote Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience."

This was my first visit to Cote in ten years. My previous experiences were not great. We eat out a lot and it was suggested we go to Cote. I begrudgingly agreed.

It was excellent. Service superb, menu so much better than all the other chain restaurants. Prices sensible which meant we had a nicer bottle of wine! Will be returning. And soon.

Ps only marked atmosphere as a 3* as it was a wet, miserable Tuesday in January when we visited.

Customer service is perfect. The food is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is also lovely. Would come back in a heart beat. Steak and Calamari is our recommendation. Haven't a bad word to say.. Thank you. We'll be back!

This was the best service we ever received in Watford.
The atmosphere in here was so cozy and elegant, it was like escaping to another reality, which is exactly what we did after a day of hard work.
With such high quality of gourmet dishes and beverages, this was no longer just a simple dining out, it was an experience.
We are definitely coming back here again and inviting our family over to share this wonderful experience of what seems like a 5 star restaurant for a very reasonable price.

We come here often, and Svet Boykinov always makes us feel welcome and looks after us very well. The food is always incredible, and the portions and pricing is fair. Best restaurant in the area, we look forward to coming here again!

Had a wonderful quiet experience at this French Brasserie. The food was fresh and cooked well. I had the scrambled eggs with salmon. Yes they do breakfast from French toast to great tasting pastry.

Had a spectacular dinner at Côte Brasserie! To start off I ordered the toasty Calamari with a glass of Bordeaux Rouge 2018 and followed it with the moist and flavorful Half Chargrilled Poulet ‘Breton’ with Garlic Butter. For desert I had the cheese tray with bread. The staff was professional, attentive and friendly. The soft lighting and music provids the perfect ambiance for a couples night out. I most sincerely recommend this amazing restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Went to celebrate a 30th birthday and the staff couldn’t have made it more special. They were also incredibly attentive throughout the meal. Service was great and the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go again.

I went with a friend for a spot of breakfast, they had the regular breakfast options so i went for scrambled eggs with Salmon, however i would have preferred an omelette if they had it. The coffee was really nice and i will be revisiting with my family somesay soon. The staff were attentive and courteous and i was impressed they had a gluten free option for my toast

Great meal, great food, great wine recommendation by our waitress, great asparagus in breadcrumbs starter, great onion soup, great rib eye steak, great moules, great apple tarte tatin, great coffee. Overall it was great.

Service is amazing, the staff are so lovely and happy to help whenever, we had a large group gathering and they handled it perfectly. Food is really good too, I recommend the vegan burger and the berry pavlova.

We consistently choose the Watford and St Albans branches of Cote for family outings, as they consistently provide exceptional food and a delightful atmosphere. Additionally, the Windsor branch has become our preferred destination for quarterly ladies' nights with friends, offering superb cuisine and a charming riverside setting. We highly recommend these branches for a memorable dining experience.

Great breakfast, probably the best in Watford! Staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is fast and efficient. Good selection of drinks and a large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very reasonably priced given the quality of the food on offer. Highly recommend.

No idea how I've missed such restaurant all this time since its opening. Didn't read any reviews or recommended by anyone.
Both me and my wife decided to give it a try and we became regulars.
Simply the best place to eat in Watford. At least the most delicious food I ate around the area. Fine cuisine, most close experience you will get to fine dining without paying a fortune.
Atmosphere is great and service spot on.
