I found Franco’s on the latest biography of Francis Bacon when his PA was doing a little stop for a quick dinner bite before going home in SouthKen. The rest is history.
The experience was remarkable.
Service outstanding. Food Delicious. Atmosphere charming. I highly recommend it for any special occasion. I will definitely be returning soon.

Absolutely delightful sitting on the patio. I enjoyed a cigar from Davidoff across the street and had two excellent cocktails. The mule in particular was exceptional and was the best one I’ve ever had.

The best Italian restaurant in London with a very cosy and traditional environment and classic recipes made with a modern touch but unique taste. Antonino the Restaurant Manager always looks after us and makes us feel like home! You should definitely try the Vitello Tonnato and the truffle pasta . Especially when you get to have some extra shaved fresh truffle on top.
Great place for private dinners on the lower ground floor too where is also the wine selection. 10/10!

Elegant and authentic Italian restaurant located on St Jermyn Street. Considered as one of London’s first Italian restaurants, Franco's was established in 1945 🍝

With the late October sun, we were lucky enough to be greeted with an alfresco table, which provided us with a vantage point of the lively Jermyn Street ☀

The menu features a luxurious selection of clasic Italian dishes and something to suit everyone. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and explained each dish that was presented to us, which elevated our dining experience. 🍽

We had the pleasure of trying a range of dishes from the menu, which consisted of a Selection of cured meats, Fresh hand-picked crab, Poached veal fillet, and ended with a creamy luxurious Pappardelle with mixed mushrooms & black truffle 🤌🏻

Franco's offer an extensive drinks menu, comprising of Signature cocktails, liquers, classics, scotch, and much more. Not forgetting the impressive wine list, bound to please anyone 🍷

Non-alcoholic menu
Franco's have recently introduced a non-alcoholic menu, comprising of the finest natural ingredients to give you that 'feel good' sensation without the negative effects of alcohol. All the ingredients are designed to enhance your brain's natural GABA - thought to be the reason why alcohol is so popular.
We really enjoyed this concept and would love to see this in more restaurants! 🧡

Lastly, make sure you head to the loo before you leave.
On entering, instead of the usual background music, it had been brilliantly substituted with an audio recording of Winnie the Pooh & Paddington Bear, which I thought was the perfect touch to end our visit 🐻

Probably THE best lasagne in London.

Friendly Italian service, delicious food, very close to Marfair, not crazy prices, highly recommended recommended.

It is worth going for special occasions.

I really enjoyed my girlfriend's gift.
She really wanted to bring me to this historical Italian restaurant.

Food is really good, also the wines.

The seabass properly cooked, so the pasta.

It's in a premium location so prices seem higher compared with other restaurants.

I also wanted to try a Selection Negroni Cocktail.
I could feel the ingredients quality and it was excellent, but maybe the price was slightly higher compared with London top cocktails bar (NightJar and A Bar With Shapes for a Name to provide an accurate reference)

We had an amazing lunch here with friends. The staff were welcoming, friendly and engaging. The food and wine were wonderful. We had so many different things and everything was superb. The Wild Boar Strozzapretti, wow. Great wine list too. The Vin Santo and Pinot Neri Grappa were fantastic to end the meal.

Excellently executed menu - I particularly recommend the tomato pasta and the bread basket to get a taste of just how good the ingredients are!
For a bigger meal, the veal cutlet is excellent too. The staff are very responsive to requests and pleasantly attentive and polite

Authentic Italian food and wine and excellent service.
There is an extra menu with vegetarian dishes.
The decor is stylish and clean.
Would come back anytime!
The spaghetti Cacio e Pepe are absolutely recommended.

The place was great, people even better, food incredible. Cocktails made by Brian were awesome and he was such a great guy. We loved the experience there.

We made reservations to dine here while on holiday. I ordered the octopus carpaccio, a rocket salad, and tagliatelle with mixed mushrooms and black truffle. The food was delicious! Service was also great!

Excellent restaurant if you are a cigar lover.
They have a very cigar friendly outdoor seating, as well as Davidoff is just right opposite.
Impeccable Italian food is served.

We had an amazing experience at Franco's for my Mum's 75th birthday. The food was incredible and the service absolutely first class. Could not recommend more highly, we will be coming back again soon!

We were a group of four at dinner. The food was excellent and the wine list extensive. The sommelier was very helpful in choosing between a few I was thinking about. Excellent service and Dominic was a standout waiter. He managed a section of about 12 tables by himself and was always ahead of the game, a very impressive professional to watch.

What a lovely surprise this address nestled in the heart of London! We had waited a while at first, but what a big thank you to Wendy for taking care of us immediately afterwards! She was so attentive! We'll be back with great pleasure. The cafe lattes were just the way we like them, a sweet treat! ✨

Traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of St James. Fabulous friendly service with great personality. 3 course lunch menu at £49 pp including apèratif, wine and with good choices on each course. Absolutely love it.

Franco’s has always been pure class and this dinner was no exception. The perfect combination of understated Mayfair opulence and ambience, outstanding Italian cuisine, superb wine list and impeccable service. And to top it off they’ve even recently hired one of my all time favourite London restaurant Maestros, Antoniolo - bravo Franco’s! See you very soon. Alex H
