If I could give this tiny little cafe 10* I would. Every time I visit I'm soooo impressed with the menu, amazing chef, food interesting and always flavoursome. Friendly staff too.

I witnessed full Covid safety procedures, with social distancing and all the very friendly staff were all wearing masks and face sheilds.

An outdoor eating area is available during the weekend around the back, otherwise I believe it's take-aways, but do check website for more information.

The food here is still incredible! Never have I been disappointed with their fantastic ever changing menu. This talented chef works magic producing amazing combinations with such interesting ingredients. It's a joy to eat here. Yesterday we visited yet again and yes, at first I was a little disappointed that the food came in take away boxes - but I am soooooo glad I ordered... yummy yummy yummy 😋

Delicious cakes! Also - they give you a large pot of hot water so you can top up your tea, which is much appreciated. I had mushroom soup, which was very tasty!

Lovely coffee shop with amazing home bakes and good coffee. Not too many tables so need to get their early or be prepared to wait a bit. Must also visit the book shop. Great range of books to browse. Lovely way to spend an afternoon. Outside seating also available.

this is such a cute little shop with a wide variety of teas, cakes and coffee. there's a load of gluten free cake options too. you enter through the london review book shop. there's not many tables so you may have to wait. I had a rose and pistachio cake which was so yum. I had it with a white peony tea with whole rosebuds.

Vibrant coffee and tea shop next to a bookstore serving hot drinks and cake/pastries. Easy access from the British museum.

Excellent healthy food and great coffee with a first class cake selection. Can get very busy on weekends. Definitely worth seeking out if you’re in the area or visiting the British Museum.

Stone’s throw from The British Museum. Lovely humous. Tasty apricot tart, light and authentic. Perfect coffee. Nice ambiance. Welcoming staff. Reasonably priced. Yup, that’s five stars!

I needed a bespoke Vegan cake for 2 people. Terry kept in touch with me regarding flavours and options and created an Amazing birthday cake for my wife. Absolutely delicious! Thank you so much :)

Astonishing value and consistently excellent pates, soup, sweets. One of the best places in London for a light bite… correspondingly busy.

Incredibly cozy café with amazing waiters and super tasty oolong tea.

The pastries also looked incredible especially the cakes, and you can bring a book and just read and chill. I’m in love with this place 😊

Cake was unbelievable! I wasn't expecting the cake to be homemade but I was happily surprised. I’m very picky with my desserts and I was blown away.

Nice cosy atmosphere, cafe is full of light. People are nice. Only point to make quantities in the cup seems a bit low compare to the average I would say.

Came in for the beetroot soup -- sooooo good! I needed my veg fix! -- and was waylaid by the chocolate Guinness cake before I could escape. They average out to a balanced diet, right? Worth it!

So glad I found this place! Charming bookstore on a quiet street steps away from the British Museum. Strawberry and fig cake was delicious as well!

Soulfully rich hazlenut cake, coffee with real depth of flavour, healthy yet original lifht lunch dishes,ample courtyard seating: there is much to air here, and that's before we come to the book shop...

Very cozy and nice place with tasty pastries. The owner is very pleasant. We had a lovely breakfast.
