Fantastic Roman archeological find, a gem as it’s a private residence and really enlightens about Roman Britain in the 2-3 AD, the amazing Roman architectural
Standards.
The tour guide was amazing describing history of Londonium from conception to3 AD, the use of the building found, the building above which is the old coal exchange. A hidden gem-
Only open on a Saturday from April to end of November and ticket booking in advance.

What a fantastic preserved bit of hidden away history. Well worth a visit and all the better because it's raw and real rather then over curated. The two guides were also excellent, knew their stuff, and cared!

As good as the baths I visited in Pompeii!!! Visited this historical site as part of Open London Weekend. Queued for 20 minutes but well worth it. Tour guides very knowledgeable from start to finish. The venue is only open at weekends and closes at 4 pm, last entry at 3.30 pm.

Utterly amazing tour. Well presented tour. Full of factual and interesting information. Yes the Roman house and bathouse were great to see, but he guide Suzanne was brilliant with tons of information that kept the tour interesting. Thank you for a great tour. Highly recommended to anyone interested in Roman London and London History.

It was a really nice way to spend an hour. The guides explained everything really clearly and while they didn’t know the answer to everything (and who does, realistically?? ) they were pleased to answer what they could. Their knowledge was very wide and I really enjoyed the tour

I think the guided nature of the tour is really what makes this museum. There’s a lot to see and learn in such a small place and they really brought it alive

The site itself is incredibly interesting and it’s great to learn the history over the last 2000 years plus

Would recommend!

Saw this on a guided tour. It's amazing to see what's still under your feet from 1000's of years ago.

Worth a visit if you enjoy Archaeology or “Romans in Britain” history -the tour was good and the guide was very friendly- it can be a little bit difficult to find - the front door to this Roman House and bath is a standard ground floor of a office block but google maps is accurate and it took us a moment to “accept” we had arrived at the right place and to ring the bell for admission- very glad that we did

Cool ruins, well preserved. Interesting story about how Romans took a bath (not what I expected) Hint: this bath house had no water. Went during Open House London...long line but the archeologists explained everything and the ruins are cool so.well worth the wait.

Very unusual archaeological site. Tours must be booked in advance but well worthwhile doing. It's a key site in understanding London's Roman history.

An interesting experience mainly for the opportunity to see a real bit of history hidden below street in an unexpected part of London. The guides, from the Museum of London, are also very good.

Very cool, a nice tour of a unique historical place, and while it's a bit hard to find without gps, it's a short experience, packed with cool information and some fun things to see.
