My favourite gallery in London. Very down to earth atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and very much a feeling of being part the community within the heart of Shoreditch.

Seen some great work from brilliant street artists at the gallery. The exhibitions are always interesting and a mixture of styles. Well worth a visit.

My favourite gallery in London! With a focus on street artists, the gallery brings something different to London art scene. The artists and the gallery staff are incredibly approachable taking the time to walk you through the stories of each piece. It feels more like an art space or an art club than a traditional commercial gallery. Looking forward to the next exhibition!! Thank you Francesca Giorgi-Monfort you're a star!

Howard Griffin Gallery is a little gem in Shoreditch!
Every now and then they have a new artist and it's always a pleasure to go and spend my free time, as I'm working near by, there.
I love the fact that that have this street art vibes which blend perfectly with the East side.
And Francesca, the gallery manager will always be there to explain you everything about the artist!
So if you are around pop in, it's free and you won't be disappointed!

An incredible gallery with a great attitude - Howard Griffin Gallery is a breath of fresh air amongst the more mercenary outfits that you tend to find in and around the area. Griff and his team have a great eye for talent that goes above and beyond the staples of the Shoreditch street art tourist circuit. An unpretentious, welcoming environment, the gallery always goes to the next level in every sense - great, all-encompassing shows, friendly customer service and a genuine sense of enthusiasm for the artists they represent. A must see for anyone with an interest in contemporary/street art.

Howard Griffin gallery is the Studio 54 of the art scene- a real gallery about contemporary art- no fake- just the best shows curated by an extremely hard working passionate and talented team. I have never seen opening viewings where so many people queue each time all along Shoreditch High Street. But its worth it as the gallery is known for having its finger on the pulse of the contemporary urban art world representing some of the most provocative emerging artists.

A little gem in Shoreditch, with some really cool exhibitions. My favourite being the grandad of street art, Thierry Noir. You can see his work all round London. Griff the gallery owner is very close to all the street artists in London and you can argue around the world. All the staff really friendly and welcoming. They always try and explain what madness is going on in each work. Worth a visit and keep eye on all future exhibitions.

I stumbled upon this gallery by chance and have been hooked ever since. The diversity of artists the gallery exhibits and the way in which the space is transformed with every new exhibition is truly incredible. I have even had the wonderful opportunity to meet some of the artists, such as Thierry Noir (the first artist to paint on the Berlin Wall), exchange conversations and to purchase personalised signed books through attending previews of new exhibitions. The Howard Griffin Gallery is my favourite gallery in London, and it will always have my full support. If you like or are inquisitive about street artists from around the world then a visit to this gallery is a must, you will not be disappointed. Feed your imagination and creative senses.

This is my favourite London gallery. Their exhibitions always offer something unexpected and I'm constantly amazed at how they transform such a small space into a treasure trove of surprises. The team is friendly, helpful and knowledgable, and always explain the detail behind their exhibitions: the art, the artists and their stories.

Howard Griffin is one of my favorite galleries in London and I try to pop in every time I'm in Shoreditch. It is run by the people who love what they do and the shows they’ve had so far were amazing (Phlegm, Pablo Delgado, Thierry Noir - to name a few). They re-decorate the whole place for every single exhibition and the crowd is really cool. If you are a street art collector or just want to find out more about the artists Howard Griffin Gallery is a must!

The Howard Griffin Gallery is my favourite gallery in London. Its exhibitions are unlike many others - they turn a gallery space into a full experience of each artist's work. The artists HGG represent are, to me, some of the most original, clever and modest artists at work today - something unique in this era of marketing spin and façadism.
The opportunities to get to know these special artists in a gallery that feels welcoming, democratic and engaging has given me some of the most memorable experiences in my 10 years living in London, let alone some of my most treasured artworks!
Thank you to the Howard Griffin team!

Not being a Londoner, or even British, I found this truly extraordinary Jewel in London.
The exhibitions are exciting, well planned and beautifully presented.

I am looking forward for my next visit to the UK and certainly a must stop in Shoreditch´s
best Gallery.

We discovered the Howard Griffin Gallery via interests in Berlin and Thierry-Noir and went to see his exhibition, it was just a brilliant experience, so well presented as to absolutely capture what his art is all about.

Francesca and her staff are also wonderful at making you feel at home with as much background and insights as you personally wish for on the day.

I returned with a friend to see the John Dolan exhibition and the whole experience again was well tuned to this artist.

Finally, what a great area to have such a gallery, walk outside and there's street stuff all around you too!

You can feel the love in Howard Griffin gallery. The enthusiastic staff makes a real effort when it's about to promote an artist and their exhibitions have always been -so far- full of (great) surprises; innovative, fun and clever. A real gem in Shoreditch,... and simply in London.

This is an amazing art gallery ! A friendly, relaxed and distinctive atmosphere in the bustling heart of the City/Shoreditch area with lots of beautiful artworks/projects on display- the curator/director of the gallery is super nice, intelligent and very perceptive- it's been a great pleasure to meet her. Love popping by whenever I can.

If you love street art, then go to the Howard Griffin Gallery. Simple. Their exhibitions are always interesting, memorable and feature a mixture of famous artists (can’t get more famous than Thierry Noir) and original artists that the team have discovered (Mehdi Ghadyanloo - surrealism meets street art – my favourite). The staff are really knowledgeable and as importantly, friendly and down to earth which is what you want especially if you’re a novice collector like myself! Plus they make the effort to have fun informal drinks where you can meet the artists if they are in town.

An incredible space showcasing all the best artists you'd recognise from London's streets. Curated in a way that you enter a 'story' not simply an exhibition. An excellent place to escape the bustling market crowds & city traffic.

I've now bought a number of prints and originals from the gallery, as well as attended lots of viewings. What a brilliant team, francesca is a dream, so responsive positive and helpful, she clearly a leader!

Highly recommend people to visit and pick up something beautiful!

We recently bought a Thierry Noir work from Howard Griffin Gallery. The piece was a Thierry Noir original over a Jon Dolan silkscreen, which is utterly beautiful.

The sales process wasn't as smooth as it could have been, due to miscommunication issues. We have since been in contact with the gallery's owner, Richard, who stepped in to resolve the problems and listened to our suggestions.

Initial hiccups aside, we are now satisfied with the outcome. We would recommend visiting the gallery if you are into street art. They sell both limited edition prints in addition to originals.
