Jo's Convenience Store

I had quite a few parcels to return via Evri. I'd researched quite a few shops near me and they all had bad reviews regarding the owners or assistants with the exception of Jo's Comvenience Store. Well the positive reviews were certainly accurate because I had the best experience there. Nothing was too much trouble for the young man helping me and I needed a lot of help with accessing barcodes on my phone! He took it all in his stride and was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The young lady who was manning the till was very pleasant too and after my many parcels had been sorted, I treated myself to a well deserved ice lolly! 😉
Thank you to you both. I know exactly where to go for another ice lolly and to return any parcels 😊

I just would like to share a missive Thank you! to a lovely lady who runs the shop! She went an extra mile to help me send my package when I could not enter with a dog! She took an initiative to come out, scan my label, take package and give me my receipt while I was waiting outside. A small act of kindness made my whole day! Thank you

Very pleasent owners. Collect my Vinted parcels from there and they are very precise always ensuring that they apply the right diligence to everyone. Really friendly and always care. Great to have such business nearby.

I've been to 4 other "packageless" evri stores that are advertising services they don't provide, with Jo knowing straight away and guiding me through the process.

Friend shopkeeper. Always polite and always tries to help. U like food and wine next door!

I cannot say enough about the couple that run this shop. They are truly kind and wonderful folks. In a weary world, that means everything. The shop is exactly what you expect and need in a convenience. I urge anyone to pop in.

Same experience as most for packaging. Even though it is clearly stated on the website that it is a package-free service, they insist that you have to do it yourself and force you to make a purchase.
Amazon please, we don't need these smart guys, there are people who are much more willing to work. Help us improve this city.

Man at the counter very rude. Not a packageless service with Evri. Tried to get me to buy a package to return an item. Tried to show him on the amazon and Evri app, but he kept diverting. Will avoid from now on.

Poor customer service from the lady working at that shop. I asked her help with returning the parcels to Amazon and she was too busy ordering food to help me! The Everi machine wasn’t working and I asked her if she can restart it. She asked me to come back tomorrow. She ignored me for the entire time while serving other customers but being on the phone!
I won’t return to that shop again!!

Very bad service, don’t go to return your parcel !!!! They make you to buy sellotape and don’t give you any bag to package.

Beware if you have a Large EVRi Parcel, they will refuse to accept it.

I had a large EVRi Parcel to send, but it was still 20cm and 5KG under the limits + completely acceptable. The guy working the till completely refused to accept it no matter how much I argued about the fact it is within the size EVRi says he must accept.

I wasted a good hour of my day because of this, including 20 minutes walking each way carrying a 10KG large box, still have my parcel and will now have to waste time contacting EVRI to arrange a different means of sending this, at my own expense.

If this is your local parcel shop and the parcel is big, don't waste your time taking it here.

Never put things for collection via Evri over here. They ask for extra money to accept the order. Otherwise they would not accept or give you the order
