The Church of England Saint Paul's Church

The church grows vegetables on the side. It has children's programme (0-any age) every Tuesday at 9.30am. They have a homeless food programme (soup kitchen) running on Mondays (lunch) and Wednesdays (dinner).

Went to The Posh Club for over 60s on Wednesday for a posh tea and entertainment and dance all for £5

Love the garden here. Sometimes I have to charge my car at the fast charge point next door so will get some food and sit in the garden to wait. It is peaceful and well kept but with enough wild areas to offer biodiversity a good stab at existing.

This amazing church helps the community by holding a children's play club every Tuesday from 9.30 to 12pm. It's a fun space lots of space for kids to play and great outdoors for gardening as well as a slide, spin tyres, few outdoor gym items. Its run by a lovely couple.

Had a good time met new people etc had alot to eat there

Lovely bit of post-war architecture (wartime bomb took out the previous) and a free-range Rector that makes a real difference to the community: plenty of drop-in sessions, a farmers market, trees at Christmas, a park, a hall for hire, and down to earth services. Did I say lovely?

Newly renovated church hall that runs a shelter for the homeless and various community events, including courses from BagsOfTaste (I mention them as I volunteer for this worthy charity which gives coming courses that aim to teach people to cook tasty and healthy meals on a budget. It's through these courses that I know the hall). They also have cultural events. John Hegley played there about a month ago (a friend of mine was supporting). The amenities are much improved and comfortable and the hall had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. One of the new features is an IT suite that offers free internet access to members of the community.

A very family friendly church whose core values are far reaching. All are welcome no matter who they are.

Does what I don't see a lot of churches doing. That being, good work in the community.
