I had my invisualine treatment with Dr Poorna. We kept continuing the process for as long as I needed to be completely satisfied and happy with the results. I’m over the moon!
Everyone at the practice is so friendly and accommodating I go with my two young children and we all feel so comfortable and looked after. Thank you

I have been visiting Dr. Poorna Thakkar at Aveley Dental Practice for various issues with my teeth - and I cannot express how pleased I have been with my treatment whilst under her care. I am a typical nervous patient, but Dr. Poorna and the team are always so welcoming, engaging, and reassuring, it instantly helps put my nerves at ease. Dr. Poorna has been wonderful at understanding how other issues with my body may be affecting my teeth, and has helped me with those concerns, and she always practices a light touch when conducting procedures (including x-rays, examinations, anaesthetic, and deep fillings). I truly feel as though I found the perfect dentist, and my family and I will remain under the trustful care of Aveley Dental for a very, very long time! A wonderful dental practice, and team, and 5 star service and treatment! THANK YOU FOR BEING AMAZING!

Outstanding professionalism from both Dr Gauri and Dr Poorna at the practice. Efficient with treatment and following up after procedures. Any problems I had were quickly put to ease and I was reassured throughout!

I went to Aveley dentist today. Haven't been to the dentist since before the pandemic. Due to a broken tooth I had to find a new dentist. As I live in the village this dentist was convenient. I'm so pleased that I did. The staff are very friendly and are very good with nervous patient. Didn't push me into picking the dearest price, just gave me my options and left me to pick. They also went out of the way to fit me in around other patient .

Had my teeth cleaned today and I have to say the dentist was extremely nice and helpful. Not once did i feel any pain in my teeth as oppose to other places i have been. Very happy with the level of service provided. Well done

A great dentist with wonderful staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable when you're a nervous patient. My Invisalign treatment was great from the start and my results were even better than I could imagine.

Have not received such amazing care in all my time seeing dentists and hygienists. I've had lots of dental work done over the years and since registering here the dentist were nothing but honest and thorough. They have managed to assess and quickly refer me to a major dental hospital for further interventions. Upon having a review during these interventions the dental team were really pleased with my progress. They have demonstrated compassion, patience, perseverance and education and I'm really happy to be under their care.

So I had the most amazing experience today! I must say that this is the best dentist I have been to. The attention given, you could actually see that they genuinely care. The receptionist was also very friendly and professional. I saw Laura and Sean and yes, this is now my dental surgery. 5 stars!

I took my daughter (2 years) there for a check up. Her first visit to a dentist! The dentist was great. My daughter was a bit moody as she had fallen asleep in the car and I had to wake her! But the dentist made her feel at home and reassured us her teeth was fine. (just need to improve her brushing!) All the staff were great and made my daughter feel more relaxed. Got her next appointment booked in 6 months.. Be aware there is no parking at the practice but there is a free car park just a few mins walk away.

Such a good dentist! The whole team are so lovely and welcoming. I had invisalign fitted and I am so happy with the result and the care they gave throughout.

Really Happy with the treatment/works that I have had on my teeth, staff are excellent and really great at making you feel at ease. Dr Poona, Diana, Joey and staff there are brilliant !! I have always been nervous about the dentist but they have really helped me feel more confident in going to see them all. I had an appointment here today (21/05/21): first visit to the dentist in years. Oh my word! Everyone was so helpful, professional and friendly. I’ve always been a bit anxious about going to the dentist... but not anymore. The surgery itself was spotless. Everyone had the appropriate amount of PPE (so you can feel safe and secure in that respect too). Highly recommend!

Such a lovely dental practice. I've had invisalign done and I can't speak highly enough of the care and treatment I have received with Dr Poorna. They have been so accommodating with appointments, they've been so patient while addressing my concerns , the covid screening has been so thorough on each occasion. Im so pleased with my treatment. Highly recommend Aveley Dental Practice. My daughter went and as I hadn't been for "several"years I thought I would try them. All the staff are friendly but Dentist Mathura and Nurse Joey were friendly, helped me to feel comfortable and relax. I had my teeth cleaned and they look and feel amazing. Best surgery I have ever used.

Few months ago I've started my treatment, doctor Poorna had no issue with my request for rather fast pace treatment as I wanted to finish fixing my teeth by the end of the year.

She has done and excellent job, her colleagues are very kind people, always smiling and happy to help. When I needed an emergency visit due to pain, they have scheduled me the same day, despite the fact that doctor Poorna was on holiday.

I will recommend Dr. Poorna and Dr. Mathura to anyone who is looking for an excellent and friendly dentist.

I have recently became a patient at Aveley Dental Practice and am overjoyed that I did!

I was afraid of the dentist and lived with pain for over 2 years. My previous experiences were awful, eventually my husband convinced me to try a new surgery and from the moment I visited I could tell that I would not be disappointed or let down again.

I had a new born baby with me and Diana at reception very kindly looked after our buggy. She was extremely friendly and nice and super helpful with appointments and questions. I was seen by Dr Mathura and Joey. They put me at ease, made me comfortable with being examined, told me In simple and plain English ( no medical jargon) what was wrong and how it could be fixed. Dr Mathura understood my fear and the fact that I had a life outside of the surgery and how everything would impact me with a baby. Not only did they both look after me, but they also looked after my baby and kept her entertained throughout. Dr Mathura also gave my husband hints and tips on how best to look after post extraction and the potential side effects which could come about.

They were so understanding and considerate! I was so pleased with my procedures and especially the after care. I have never had a dentist call me the next day to ask me how I was feeling and if I was in pain and needed to be seen urgently! I also had some other work done with the hygienist which was great too and the Laura who helped the hygienist was amazing and supportive also!

Overall, thank you for helping me and moreover thank you for changing my opinion on dentist practices, I am very grateful!

Highly recommend aveley dental practice. I haven't been to a dentist in 13 years and I am an extremely nervous patient. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left I felt at ease at all times. All staff are friendly, professional and caring. Dr mathura was brilliant when it comes to being extremely nervous. Kept me informed of everything that was being done and being used. Had my teeth cleaned and I actually can't wait to go back for my next appointment!

I am local and new to the area, I recently joined the practice as a new patient. I do not normally write reviews but was shocked to see the reviews online and couldn't have experienced a different experience, so I wanted to share it. The dentist and the team were all in bright and clean uniforms and were very welcoming. On entering I was provided medical history information and we discussed my worries about seeing the dentist. The dentist and the treatment were great and I was left pain free, looking forward to my next appointment. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist! Fantastic

Had a Root Canal done today and didn’t feel a thing! The dentist was absolutely amazing and made me feel absolutely comfortable throughout the procedure so did her assistant! It was a very long procedure and I can’t Thank them enough for how well they did! Honestly the Place has taken better care of me then any dentist I’ve had in 47 years. Truly recommend this place I was so afraid and honestly it was a great experience xx
