Longacres Garden Centre Bybrook Barn

My mum and I love coming here. It’s a great store with many different bits and pieces, all nice quality and quite reasonable prices. I’d like to mention the cafe in particular. It was the first time we ate in there, today and we really enjoyed it. The staff are so lovely, as is the food! We had two really decent cups of coffee and a bowl of golden, crispy chips 😋 Best chips I’ve had in ages.

Large garden centre with a good range of indoor and outdoor items.

Really liked the bronze stag figures by the lake. Good range of plants, plant pots, and water features.

Come here for the aquatics shop. Very helpful, never had a problem with the fish. Great service from the staff in the aquatic shop. Full of great advice and helpful hints.

A decent garden centre with plenty of plants to choose from, lots of seasonal gifts, a shoe shop, a small supermarket, nice cafe, ample parking and even a car wash service. Prices are reasonable.

Recommend a visit. They have a wide range of goods. Great selection of gifts and Christmas decorations. Clothes, Pavers shoes and food hall. A restaurant serving light bites. And so much more.

Great variety of everything! plants, homewear, food, and pet supplies. I could spend hours walking around. The staff are very friendly also. The only negative was the queue for the café, most people only wanted a coffee, but had to stand with people wanting food, which tripled the wait time.

Dog friendly store, dogs are allowed in the outside restaurant seating areas good restaurant serving a variety of hot foods ( quite generous portions ) and drinks. Good store for pets, aquarium goods and provisions. Lots of gifts and foods, clothing, gardening etc.

This is a lovely little garden centre that has a delightful cafe at its heart. It gets ever so busy but their staff are always professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

Wonderful variety of goods for the garden, Xmas display amazing and the restaurant lovely although busy. Now is the ideal time to browse for ideas and I am sure you won't be able to just browse.

We had an enjoyable wander around the various departments within the store and then had some very tasty refreshments at the cafe there. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic brilliant experience lots and lots of Xmas decorations and they even have an upstairs as well also with Xmas decorations this time it's lights and displays for Xmas I was blow away this garden centre is brilliant it felt bigger some how I haven't been here in years but I went to day with my friend ware both retired now but yes a great day out oh there is a lift to get up stairs so it's wheel chair friendly as well

Always a pleasure to come here with plant bargains to be had. Reasonably priced in comparison to Dobbies. Place to go if you are looking for garden items, bird food and plants. Love that I can do shoes and clothes shopping also. Lovely area to enjoy a coffee and to see the enormous carp in the lake. Took a stroll over the bridge and was very pleasant all-round. My go too when I need a new orchid. Can't resist their display at the entrance.
Bought new water feature in the sale. Such helpful staff. From shop to garden in 2 steps.

I went with 2 other people for lunch at Longacres. 3 cooked meals all ready in just over 5 minutes and the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the staff as always was amazing. The garden centre is well laid out and always has great offers and everything is at a very good price. If you haven't been you really are missing a treat

Definitely worth a visit and the cafe as well.

It is a great place to spend time for a coffee or for buy anything for our house and garden. We love the pet shop too. My son and I always go and enjoy the time there. Prices could be a little cheaper although.

So helpful they insisted on helping me load up the car with compost, have great plants including specimen ones, and just came up with a delivery of fire wood at short notice.

First visit, went mainly for the restaurant - was a very nice late lunch
Staff on the counters were friendly
Did a walk around lots of stuff in there a wide variety
Aquarium is great good selection of tropical, marine and cold water fish...
Dobbies used to be my go to, but this is closer and I think it's better for most things. The food hall is a co-op so you may get a better variety of food types / sources in Dobbies but I'll definitely think of longacres especially when I start an aquarium again!

Loved it! Visited here with friends following morning trip to Great Dixter. We browsed for ages, all four of us bought bits and pieces ready for Christmas gifts at good prices. We had a lovely cuppa in the cafe too
