Jimi hendrix home

Visited with my partner, who is a huge fan. We both found it very interesting and informative and came away with a pretty good idea of what life was like there in the late 60s.
There are people about inside to give you more information if needed and a small gift shop, as part of the entrance payment you can also see Handels home which is the floor below, they have tried to stay true to how they would of lived, in Jimi's flat they have tried to use pictures and video interviews as reference.
To find the door to get in, it is at the back of the building in a newer extension.

I never knew Hendrix and Handel were neighbours. There's a sitcom in there somewhere.
If you're visiting, be aware that it's closed on Mondays

Although pretty much replicated interior , you get the feel just as well

Just to start off, I'm a massive fan of Hendrix so it may be biased.
One of the best experiences I've ever had! There is plenty of things to look at to pictures to his music to listen to and to his actual apartment! The best thing I've ever seen. First off, the people working there are friendly and helpful (from my experience), helping me where I can go an etc. Secondly, information is informative and gives you an effective story and insight into the history of the musician. I don't really like museums and such, but this is an exception! I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend you do too.

Nice and small museum, it is worthwhile a trip to know a little bit more from Hendrix and Handel, you van see all the music collection from Hendrix and feel the revolutionary atmosphere from the seventies...good place to music lovers, both classical and Rock and Roll
