Nobody wants to be in hospital but if you have to be then Bart’s is the place to be.
Bart’s is well managed, spotlessly clean, The staff from cleaners, porters, nurses, physios, radiologists, doctors to consultants are extremely warm and friendly, always a big smile, so vital for patients who are a little anxious. You feel you REALLY matter to all the staff, they raise you up!!! I will not name names as it would not be fair to single out individuals from such a fine team.
To all at Bart’s I send my heartfelt thanks for the care and empathy I received during my stay with you.

It's the best hospital in London .The nurses and the doctors are the best and they didn't left my Dad for a second moments. They are pure angles.The nurses are very hard working and all the other stuff are very hospitable and helpful. I never forget
them.we are very lucky that my father got treatment from them.

I had a heart attack, the doctors at this hospital saved my life. I was treated with kindness and care every step of the way. I am eternally grateful for the work that people at Barts Health do.

I have been to this hospital to visit a friend of mine who was admitted there for couple of days. During my visit I discovered that this hospital is truly exceptional! From the moment I entered the doors to the reception, I felt welcomed, and completely at ease. I meet the doctor who is in charge and looking after my friend and he has gone above and beyond to be sure that he answered my questions about my friend situation. He assured me that my friend’s health and wellness have been made first priority.
All physicians we dealt with were extremely knowledgable and personable. We never were made to wait. And if ever we needed to contact them they were super speedy in responding my inquiries.
I wanted to thank all the staff members they were friendly and helpful in every way.
The wait times are relatively short.
Truly this hospital will be looked after you by such a great team.

since 2018 i have been in communication and under the care/supervision of the Barts Cardiac Devices Team / Cardiology department and they have been nothing short of amazing. everyone from the surgeons to the nurses have always made me feel welcome and cared for. they have always addressed any concerns, also asked the right questions. i had my pacemaker implanted when i was 16 years old so it was a tough decision to make at the time with everyone else in my ward being 50+ years old but since this has been done i have had regular checkups and phonecall appointments (covid)

thank you for giving me the confidence to live my life comfortably. i can also contact them via email or phone literally anytime. theyre awesome!

I needed emergency heart surgery in December of 2023 and my life was quite literally saved at St Bart's.
During my 3 week stay I was treated with such warmth, care and respect and I cannot express enough gratitude for everyone there. Without St Bart's I would not be here today.

At the 1st anniversary of my daughter Tanya's open heart surgery, I would like to give our heartfelt gratitude to Bart's Hospital Cardio Thoracic Team. There aren't enough words to thank especially Mr Carmelo DiSilva & Alex Shipolini & team for saving Tanya's life. Without their skills and a very timely intervention the outcome would have been grave!
Our special thanks to all the team who came in contact with Tanya, the Endocarditis Team, the Anticoagulant team and staff the different wards.
The care Tanya received was a very high standard and she continues the receive a high standard care.

My huge thanks to the guys at the minor injuries clinic. I was seen promptly, x-rayed, stitched and departed within 90 minutes. This is a prime example of why our NHS is simply the best !!

I am so pleased with the care the politeness and real empathy the nurses and doctors had when my father was admitted for pacemaker surgery. Currently in the cardiac unit after being blue lit from hometon hospital. The second I arrived the staff on 3a east were excellent the nurses are total diamonds!
They have been superb in their care of me. Putting my mind at ease in a stressful time. The team in the cath lab for my angiogram I can't thank you enough for calming down when I was having a panic attack. They told me each step of the way exactly what they were going to do. The wards are clean and tidy. Nothing seems to much trouble even at 3am. Than you from the bottom of my heart.

I want to say a big thank you to the medical and nursing staff, the doctors and those who were close to me during my hospitalization. Excellent and professional care. we wish that no one needs this kind of hospitalization, but if you need it, they should have the same as I had with love and care

Recently, I had the unforeseen need to rush to Barts Hospital due to a back injury. The experience, from start to finish, was nothing short of remarkable, highlighting the incredible value and importance of the NHS.

From the moment I arrived, the efficiency and compassion of the staff were evident. Despite what I can only imagine was a hectic day, they ensured I was comfortable and attended to promptly. The medical team was not only highly skilled but also empathetic, providing reassurance and clear explanations at every step of my treatment.

The care I received at Barts Hospital was top-notch. The expertise of the doctors, nurses, and support staff in managing my back injury was impressive. They worked tirelessly to ensure my pain was managed and that I understood the treatment plan. Their dedication to patient care was evident in every interaction.

Moreover, this experience has reinforced my belief in the necessity of protecting and adequately funding the NHS. The level of care and support provided by Barts Hospital is a testament to the quality and dedication within the NHS.

I am immensely grateful to all the staff for their exceptional care and kindness. It's a vivid reminder of why the NHS is a treasured institution, deserving of our support and investment to ensure its continuity for future generations.

What a fantastic hospital could not thank them anough for removing my partners lung cancer of the left bottom lobe the care kindness and the support has been amazing would like to thank miss Henreetta Wilson and her team in ward C4 we will never forget you all

I would like to thank all the staff especially surgeon Martin Yates. My husband John had open heart surgery and the treatment he received was excellent. He is back to his old self and enjoying life again. You are true hero’s. I would also like to wish you all a happy 75 years NHS birthday. X
