The Connaught Square NHS General Practice

I have been a patient in Connaught Square Practice for 30 years now. Like all of us, this Practice has been through several changes over the years and have dealt with these to our/their best effort. The recent pandemic was especially trying for all of us.
Today I can truly say that my Practice is back to their best. Here is a recent example. I had an acute health scare, rang the surgery immediately. My call was answered promptly by an efficient receptionist. I was given a consultation straight away, was seen by the skillful doctor Courcha who had impeccable bedside manners and a very human attitude besides, commendable in every way. My problem has not gone away, but is being dealt with efficiently and urgently.
I will give my GP Practice full marks for being so helpful throughout.

Went here for an urgent appointment a few days ago.
Reception was swift and easy to deal with. Was seen by the lovely Dr Simrat? (I believe that was her name!). She was very thorough, friendly and put my anxieties at ease. Overall a good experience.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have my son looked after in this practice. Everyone is always so welcome- from the receptionists to Ivy who has been looking after my son. We are not registered in this practice (yet) as we were referred to this practice due to their late availability for appointments on weekdays and weekends. Its been such a pleasure to be looked after to the point that we would love to move over our records. Thank you for everything you do.

We have all experienced the pleasure of going through GP receptionist to book an appointment. But I was finally pleasantly surprised when my many appointments with my really weird schedule requirements was sorted out by lovely Frieda. Bonus was the common sense and just old plain compassion and understanding.
Oh and Dr Anju Tharayil is great!

I have had a couple interactions with this practice in the past few days.The doctor who called me last week was kind and helpful and offered me referrals to look into my symptoms.
I also just been to this practice to pick up my referrals letters and got to talk to the staff at reception including Frieda, Aminah, Stephen and Alaina who were attentive and sorted my requests promptly.

I conducted a review last year and rated Connaught Square Practice with 1 star. Since that time, I have observed a notable improvement in their responsiveness to my concerns, demonstrating a sincere commitment to addressing urgent issues. Initially, I encountered difficulties with their automated booking system, particularly during emergencies.

Subsequently, the Practice has made significant advancements in their recruitment efforts and enhanced their telephone booking procedures. As a result of these improvements, I have received prompt attention and experienced the highest level of care possible.

I have nothing but praise for Jade who was working on reception today. I am a carer for a patient who is registered at the practice and I had a few issues and concerns regarding my dependant and this only added to ongoing stresses. Jade was very patient and understanding when I came to her with my questions and worries. Jade was able to clearly and precisely talk me through my worries and pointed me in the right direction. I am so glad I can rely on connaught Square for having a well trained and well mannered staff member!

I would like to give a 5 stars review for the receptionist of the Practice Magnus , who is really helpful, carefull and knows what he is doing.
I hope that the practice will employee more people like him!

As a patient for 20 years, I can say things haven’t been the best in terms of front of office staff in recent years. Having said this, CSP is moving in the right direction, for example Jade was really helpful today in arranging two appointments which we needed.
Keep up the good work, and thanks Jade.

Nurse Justina was excellent as were her very polite and charming receptionist Samuel and Damika.

Very happy with the service provided by the practice, Receptionist Frieda dealt with my issue swiftly and professionally and helped get the response I needed from the Doctor super quick.

The receptionists at this practice are super helpful! Frieda and Aminah went out of their way to help me with a scheduling and registration problem in a very efficient and timely manner.

The Doctor and nurse are Wonderful and Really Really Kind! They aer be really helpful! Much appreciate!

Had previously left a negative review on this practice. I received a call at 9pm from the practice, explaining about some technical issues and apologising for any inconvenience. Never had that kind of service from a surgery before - amazing dedication from the staff. I have since been booked in and had all the care I needed. Good work Connaught Square.

I have been coming to the practice for a few weeks for regular nursing appointments after my treatment. I am very grateful for the warm welcome i receive- the team at reception is most helpful and i am always able to get the appointment i need with their advice. The nurses are caring and thougtful.

I have been a registered patient with my mother for over 30 years at the Connaught Square Practice. I have seen many changes in that time and the staff remain kind, professional and committed to looking after us to the best of their ability with the resources available. To many people past and present to mention them all specially as they are clearly a hard working team. Thank you.

I’ve been with the practice for over one year now and I have to say I’m very satisfied. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they are always willing to go an extra mile for you. I’ve been going through quite a lot of health issues recently and every time I ask for help I get it. I moved out to a different area of London a few months ago and have an hour to get to the practice now but I don’t want to change it, the service is just too good. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to the surgery for the past many years. I have never had any problems. Everyone is so nice and professional. highly recommended! Whenever I come, I always have a good feeling. The staff really care, GPs, Nurses or Receptionists-they are GOOD. I also happy because the Practice is open on Sundays which is really good and helpful. I would like to give Nurse Maria BIG PRAISE.

I just had my appointment with Mrs Maria Laudato, she is such an amazing nurse, so kind and very knowledgeable.
I was feeling uncomfortable before my appointment, I had a smear test. When I’ve seen that my appointment it’s with her, already felt so much better and she made me feel so comfortable once I got in.
She is an amazing women first of all and I feel she is there to help all women’s in anyway she can.

I went to Connaught Square Practice today for out of hours wound review and redressing, as my own GP is not open at weekends. The whole experience was excellent. Nurse Justina was kind, efficient, professional and helpful in every way. She is so competent and skilled that I felt I was in very safe hands. The practice is clearly very well run, clean, hygienic, and welcoming. And at reception, Dimka also went beyond the call of duty, and answered some queries I had, very fully and helpfully, and in a way that was both charming and polite. I strongly recommend this service to all.
