There's no debating it. London's best shawarma by far, Iranian style. It's absolutely delicious. Go for the mixed shish platter for about £19 to eat in. Chicken, Lamb chips / rice, salad and pickles. It's superb!! They've been going strong since the 60's, beating off significant local competition. The fresh lemonade is fantastic! GREAT meals, every time.

Excellent food. I had the shawarma sandwich with lamb and chicken and asked it to be just moderately spicy. My wife got the chicken shawarma sandwich not spicy. Was great, and I’ve had these all over the world. The salad was very good as well. Eat here.

Amazing experiance of breaking fast here at Cafe Helen on Edgeware road, the staff is very nice. They gave Baklava on the house. Shisha was exactly the same youd expect from one of the Middle Eastern countries. A Must visit here especially in Ramadan!

The taste of food is awesome. I went there with friends. We ordered chicken wrap, falafel wrap, chicken and lamb platter, fries and drinks. We enjoyed the food. Service was also very friendly and welcoming. Whenever I visit Edgeware road I used to go there.

Visited today saw the price increase which was fine but when the plates came out, bit disappointed! they’ve reduced their portions a lot.

Used to be big enough for two to share a big shawarma plate for £20 but now it’s small.

The chicken Shawarma was excellent. We ate at the restaurant this time. Mohammed was really attentive and recommended us the falafel which didn’t disappoint. The take away was also really nice. Thank you
