Van Cleef & Arpels (London - Selfridges)

The staff who took care of me and my mum was so sweet and helpful. She was such a lovely and friendly person which made our experience even better. Unfortunately, I couldn't get her name but she was so lovely and patient.

Was really worried going to the store because of the negative reviews but I was proven wrong! The staff were very polite, I didn’t have an appointment so i walked around for 30 minutes and then got a text message saying an ambassador will assist me now. My SA Shamilla was extremely professional, patient and made the whole experience very special. The rest of the staff were very polite as well. Overall had an amazing experience!

The lady in store is very nice and friendly! She helped me tried on different necklaces even I said I'll need to think about it before buying. Great customer service 👍

Their welcome was better than in the flagship store in Bond street.

Arrogant staff, not really friendly. I accidentally dropped my glass of water when I bought a gift for my girlfriend. They looked at me as I did something wrong. No customer service and no new water. I asked for gift-wrapping but what they doing is putting just a bow around the package and that’s it….

This place puts a wrong light on the brand. Please change something immediately!

Staff were so rude and judgemental, looking me up and down as soon as I walked into the store. I asked for some help with seeing the Alhambra rings, I was met with sass on “not pronouncing Alhambra correctly”, then when I was asked my ring size, I gave the answer in letter format, the woman replied “no we do numbers here”, I gave my US ring size and she replied “no it should be two digits”. Surely if you work in a jewellery store you should be able to convert two other ring sizes to the VC size?! I was told to wait to the side and someone would come and help me. 15 minutes later the SAME woman came and asked me with a blank stare “can I help you find anything??” She had completely forgotten who I was in 15 minutes, unreal and had no one to help me. Safe to say I walked out of the store.

Not the service I expect from a high end jewellery store. Van Cleef has missed out on my purchase and I will not return, so disappointing as I know service in different countries - eg Sydney, Australia has been very different before. The judgement from staff can go in the bin, so unnecessary.
