Beautiful park, you have a small hill and the deers are amicable (consider your distance and respect the nature before hand). We had the fortune to go in a good sunny day without rain.

Overall Richmond is beautiful but if you have the chance to go to this park, take it and have a walk with your friends after a picnic next to the river.

We spent a wonderful Sunday in this park. We took pictures, hiked, and found deer to the children's delight, bunnies, squirrels, parrots, ducks and lots of greenery.

Amazing park, well kept and truly beautiful. Many birds and deers. You could just walk and lost in the nature. Felt like I was far away from the busy London.

Beautiful park. Lovely for short or long walks. Dog friendly. Plenty of benches around so you can stop and take a rest or admire the view as you walk around. I visited in early spring (March), but I imagine it has beauty in every season. Relatively accessible from transport links as well, although there is parking inside the park.
Toilets and cafes at certain points too.

Saw the deer, was very nice. If you are planning on going to Richmond Park, don't expect to see the deer, the park is big and they are quite reclusive. If you do see them, keep slow and quiet, let them come up to you if they want too. I saw a woman run at a deer last time I went.

A beautiful stunning picturesque location. Caters to all types of visitors, you have paths, woodland, fields and the vibrant Isabella Plantation. Even caught a few glimpses of deer 🦌

Beautiful park to spend a whole day or only as long as you like. It's great for picnic, cycling and any other activities you might do outdoors.
It's located in the middle of the busy London and the best get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The weather this weekend was truly splendid, beckoning me to take a leisurely stroll through Richmond Park to catch a glimpse of the charming wildlife, visiting Bambi 😂😂. The park was bustling with cyclists, horse riders, runners, and walkers, all enjoying the picturesque surroundings. And to top it off, the timely appearance of ice cream vans provided a refreshing treat amidst the outdoor adventure.

My local park is an absolute gem! It's a green oasis in the heart of the city, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The well-maintained trails are perfect for a leisurely stroll or a jog to get some exercise. The lush greenery and beautiful flowers create a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere. The park also has plenty of picnic spots and playgrounds, making it a great place for families to spend quality time together. Whether you want to relax, play, or simply enjoy nature's beauty, this park has it all. Highly recommended for a breath of fresh air!❤😍💯

One of the best (if not the best) parks in London, great for long walks or picnics, but if you want to be able to see every corner of the park, cycling is the recommended way to do it. The ponds are nice, the deer are pretty and walk freely around the park, the Isabella Plantation is a must see for the variety of plants and flowers, and there are coffee shops and restrooms around.

Really lovely, though they could do with the more frequent occurrence of a toilet. 😂🤪

There are loads of paths both paved and not for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.

There are some nice cafes too.

Located in London Town, it is huge area with wild nature animals. Advice if u go in a rainy day it is full of mud and wear tracking shoes. You can meet deers most of the time. Nice place to walk

If you are visiting Richmond in April/May, do not miss the Isabella plantation on any account! Clearly it is very popular (read - a little crowded) but how could it be otherwise given the exceptional colours? Enjoy!

This park is stunning! Seeing the dears was such a treat! However a few points... they need more maps amd sign posts how to get around, this is a huge park and it's very overwhelming to navigate, some walking routes or sign posts to toilets would be very helpful and are really needed!

Extensive open parkland crossed by a network of paths and cycling routes, home to a large population of deer.
The sandy soil, well established trees and ponds give the park a distinctly different, wilder feel to the central London parks. The Isabella Plantation is the exception, with beautiful azalea and heather gardens which were a riot of colour when I visited in April.
King Henry's Mound is another highlight, with its elevated position offering excellent views to the west, and an iconic view of St Paul's Cathedral to the east, visible through the trees with a good zoom lens.
The park and gardens are free to enter and opening times are listed on the entrance gates (these vary throughout the year). There are toilet facilities near most gates and signage is generally very good.

Absolutely stunning park. There is so much to cover and see! A perfect place to walk, run, bike, hike, have a picnic.. whatever your preference! Really beautiful, well maintained, clean and full of wildlife including squirrels, deer and many birds! There are a few cafes and restrooms (I think 3 in total) too which is very handy.
