The Doo Wop Chocolate Cafe & Cooking School

Went for a quick Birthday brunch with my girlfriend today and we couldn't have had a better service. The guys clearly enjoy what they do and they go out their way to share their passion. The chocolates are amazing and we will definitely be coming back! We love it here

Enjoyed the bread making course, made two delicious loaves! The team are passionate and enjoy cooking and teaching. Speak to them about what else they can arrange for you, seem incredibly flexible and just enjoying using their skills.
Cafe and kitchen are clean and tidy, great little place in Wandsworth.

Just to say many-many BIG THANKS to Phil for the most luxurious and so very special fruit cake for our dearest mum's 85th birthday!!! The most scrumptious base, encased into scrumptious golden marzipan and wrapped up into the most delicious icing that melts in the mouth!!! Couldn't decide which part I love more - so had a few bits of everything. Now, first, off to mum's next weekend for more (hope there's some left)... Second, Phil, give us a hint, what's your secret?! So far all we know, it's been made with love. Thank you!

Had an AMAZING afternoon learning to make bread and a roulade. Can't recommend it enough and really great value too!!

I participated in the bread making class at the cafe and cooking school, and it was brilliant! The class was 3 hours in duration and we made two big loaves - one wholemeal and fennel loaf and one garlic, rosemary and olive focaccia.
The owner is extremely knowledgeable about food, wine and chocolate, and very open about sharing information of his background in the industry.
We had time part-way through the class, whilst our dough was proving, to have a coffee and sweet snack (supplied by the owner!), which allowed us to taste the other products available at the cafe to purchase.
I would definitely recommend not only the bread making class but also just a visit to the cafe. The owner is extremely friendly, the chocolate - also made on site and available to purchase is delicious, and the wine list available is extensive. A great cafe where you can catch-up with friends over coffee and cake, or wine and chocolate, or indulging in a cookery class.

I had a great experience at the bread making course with Philip. We made three types of bread. Philip was very clear to explain all the steps of the process. He was making them as well, so you could see how it was done. I loved the kneading of the focaccia, that was fun for me. The texture of the breads at the end were amazing. Philip was very friendly and happy to answer all my questions along the way. And the bonus is, you get to take back home some lovely bread of course!

Just done the beginner’s bread course with Philip.......fantastic fun, lovely people running the course, baked 2 loaves to take home (and a roulade as an extra!). Amazing value (great idea to give someone as a present).The coffee is delicious too! Recommend.

Popped in here on the recommendation of a passerby. Amazing cafe! Philip was really accommodating. Cakes, chocolate and drinks are all great quality. We look forward to booking onto one of his cooking, pastry or wine classes.

We received a delivery of these chocolates today and wasn't disappointed. When I opened the box I was surprised at how amazing they looked and they tasted just as good. The flavours were out of this world. I'm hoping to go to the cafe and sign up to one of their chocolate making courses.
I will look to be ordering these in the future.

I spent a couple of hours working at Doo Wop and it has a very pleasant atmosphere, with soul and blues music in the background. I got to taste some of their new wine, wonderfully rich and sweet, and pairs up with chocolate perfectly. Highly recommend going there!

Just popped in on the off chance, lovely coffee and an excellent eggs breakfast served with a brioche bun. The cafe is smartly presented and very clean. Staff are friendly and the service was excellent will be popping in more regularly now I know it's here. 🙂

Amazing café, which also offers bespoke cooking schools/ packages. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. They offer fun/ interactive cooking classes, great for individuals, or groups. (reasonably priced as well)!

I loved my bread making class with Philip, very friendly and informative. He answered all of my questions and helped me every step of the way...made three breads with great success!

Just had a breakfast brioche bun filled with mushrooms.onion and tomato the owner made me scrambled egg on top-all this for just £4.95 including a latte.
I finished it off with a chilled viognier.Delicious.

Great place doing some very good chocolate and cakes. We went for a coffee and had a lovely frangelico chocolate tart. Fantastic and some great music too.

Amazing experience in Wine tasty with Philip, very welcome place, delicious meals and bread and a very tasty wines... superb... Thanks Philip for this incredible experience and unforgettable night with fun and friends. 5 stars
