Flying Cloud Cafe

I've lived in Kingston for nearly 30 years, and this is the first time I have been to this cafe. Not that e are regularly at Teddington Lock, but having found this page, it may have to be a regular destination on my dog walks from now on! Great Coffee, AMAZING cake (Black Forrest Chocolate Sponge), homemade... and a lovely seated area overlooking the Thames.

We had a lovely Lemon Drizzle cake, Apple Drizzle. Very very nice cakes, along with a tea an coffee. Nice little place. Glad we stumbled across it.

As we paddle up the Thames River, we hoped to find somewhere to have a cup of coffee and something to eat. We got all way to Teddington lock and could see the sail which resembles the flying Cloud. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and toast with peanut butter. Very friendly staff and 10/10 customer service.
Will definitely be back for a slice of one of the many cakes to choose from.

Lovely setting by Teddington Lock – great stop after your riverside walk. The riverside deck is an excellent vantage point to watch the goings-on along the river. Superb homemade pastries. Good array of drinks. Ice cream too! Courteous service, all relaxed no pressure. Dog friendly

Great location, overlooking the river just below Teddington Lock. Coffee is excellent and there's a wonderful selection of home-made cakes!

Lovely to sit in a cafe by the Thames. Really good service, quality drinks and decent prices.

The Boathouse Design Studio is a brilliant working hub sat on the Thames in a great historic building. The owners have done a great job making it an appealing and relaxed environment, and visitors are always impressed! Not to mention the Flying Cloud Cafe outside which is perfect for a coffee and a bite to eat with nice scenery.

It was a bit chilly - but what a fabulous location and view of Teddington lock and footbridge. The coffee and cakes were scrummy and this cafe will be so busy over the coming months. Get there early to get a decent seat!

Easy location by the river, nice views of boats, bridge, weir, trees, swans, sky. Escape from the city for the duration of a coffee break

Small snack van with a fair amount of outside seating close by teddington lock footbridge. Excellent ice cream and home made cakes.

Came here from the River Medway on our Boat. Paid for a weeks mooring, Emily was wonderful, so helpful and accommodating. Excellent marina, safe & secure can’t recommend highly enough.

This cafe is REALLY great. The service is excellent, especially given the cramped conditions that the staff work in. Working in an aluminium tube-like converted caravan, on the hottest day of the year, definitely wouldn't be my first choice of place to work, but they carry on welcoming customers and serving lovely cakes and beverages to all and sundry, cyclists included.

Really like this cafe it's super cozy and has I nice view of the river Thames. Also dog friendly which is a must for me, as if I couldn't take my dog I'd probley not look twice at it. Over all totally recommend

Wonderful Riverside café. Drinks and great homemade cakes served from an Airstream trailer. Sunny terrace with beautiful views of the footbridge at Teddington lock.

Good coffee, cute cafe, cool setting. Change from a tenner for 3 speciality coffees in London is pretty amazing.

A well supported by the local community cafe. Homemade cakes are delicious, and fresh coffee per person, or hot chocolate, tea etc. A dog friendly cafe, with a treat for your furry friend.

Lovely place near Teddington lock. Serving super coffee and excellent home-made cakes.
Best to park in Teddington and walk to it.
