Fantastic tour! Guides were really informative. Definitely come away from the tour feeling more educated. And always lovely to see a part of our recent heritage in person! Highly recommended!

This tour is so far my favourite thing I have done in London. It really sent me back to what those people went through back then.
After 180 steps you are down there with them smelling that underground smell and trying to feel what it must have felt like.
The tour guides were brilliant and informative.
Definitely recommend!!!

Down you go, 180 steps down ( and back up). Huge underground facility below South Clapham Station, now a listed building. Staggering amount of space down here, in what was intended to be an 8,000 person shelter. Never really used much during WW2 and has had a chequered history since. Very well worth a visit if you are interested in such things.

The old shelter has taken on a new life as an impromptu memorial to Sarah Everard. I hope that this will become more official at some point

Superbe visite d’un ancien abri anti bombardement !
Le guide est extra et passionné !
La visite est insolite et très intéressante. Très simple d’accès depuis le centre de Londres. Je recommande à tous les fans d’histoire et de photographie !

Ein sehr beklemmende Ort, wenn man bedenkt dass hier mehr Menschen Zuflucht fanden, als zulässig waren. Dicht an dicht gedrängt in einem stickigen Bau zu sitzen oder zustehen wäre nichts für mich.
