Beautiful, tranquil outdoor space. Some areas accessible for dogs, others not. Grand, historic listed building 'The White House' a central feature that used to be home to The Covingtons, now a preschool on the ground floor and private apartments above. Some flower beds needing a little more TLC these days and certainly the fountain/pond areas could do with some much needed sprucing up, however newly planted fruit trees offer the promise of better things to come. Overall a very lovely place to wander, with fantastic views and very little to remind you that you're still in the city.

Huge park with multiple walkways and a lot of trees and green areas. It is a bit hilly, which makes it a pleasure to walk around as it is not so boring 🙂. It stretches all the way to Streatham common where a little café is situated at the top.

Beautiful place in South West London. You can go in from both Streatham common side and Norwood.
It’s very well kept, peaceful and rich in history. Highly recommended!

Wonderful green open space made up of gently sloping fields which are all safely enclosed. Great unspoilt spot to walk the dog without hoards of picnics and football teams. The wooded area at the top of Streatham common provides welcome shade in the summer months. The whole area is well maintained and there are conservation programmes in place to regenerate the woodland and encourage wildlife. There are tennis courts, the Rookery flower gardens and a nearby coffee shop as well as ample free parking.

An amazing spot for a walk/picnic! However, be aware that the second the sun starts to go in you will get eaten alive by all sorts of weird and wonderful insects!!
The rookery is absolutely stunning too!

Lost count how many times I've visited Norwood Grove through spring/summer. It's a lovely place with a nice over city view. Perfect place for long summer evening picnics..

Streatham people call it the dog park, as it is a favourite with all the dog walkers and dog owners. Lovely spacious green.

Wouldn't think you were in London! It's really quiet here and a nice place to walk. The views are nice (until you remember it's Croydon you're looking out onto!)

There is a large area of open parkland and woods which stretches from Streatham Common north to Norwood Grove and Biggin Wood in the South. It's a pleasant break from the City and is part of the Capital Ring.

There's a Cafe at the Rookery. And a very good playground for children recently opened on Streatham Common.
