Kingston Vets

Welcoming and friendly vets. We took our cat for a check up after adoption, and later got her spayed here as well. I called before registering to enquire and the reception were really helpful with my many questions. The vets themselves were kind and explained everything to us. The spaying was quick, they kept me updated too and gave us lots of aftercare info. Really glad we chose here over one of the larger practices - also has parking which is a great plus!

I recently had cause to visit the vets and I have to say the ladies in reception were so friendly and helpful, it was a lovely surprise given the reputation of receptionists generally speaking, they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, I would have no hesitation to visit this vets again.

Claire and Ali are incredible vets , empathetic, caring and go above and beyond to help do the best to help my beloved cats. Sue at reception is always an amazing help, also kind and accommodating. The best vet I’ve found in 40 years! Highly recommend

Really enjoy going there with my dog, even my dog enjoys going there, the staff and the veterinary are super friendly and professional. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Can count on them at all times. Definitely recommend a 10/10 for anyone looking for a vet for your babies

No matter the pet that I have had over the years the team have always been so helpful and caring when I’ve taken them in (gerbils, cats, guinea pigs, and dogs). They’ve been empathetic and understanding when it comes to losing pets, and are knowledgable in treating them. Although they were not taking new pets when I got my newest dog, because I already have other animals registered they let me add her no issues.

Our cat got an accident, a very bad fall and we rushed him to the nearest vet. We were a bit worried about what the bill would look like but it was totally fine considering what had to be done. They took such good care of him, everyone seemed to care about him. He is now home and recuperating from his injuries.
Thank you very much to the whole team for taking such good care of our little man!

We recently visited this Vets Surgery with one of my daughters Guinea Pigs (Blossom). When I initially telephoned the reception staff were very helpful and enrolled us on to their books and offered a same day appointment. We attended the surgery later that day and all the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We were seen by one of the Vets (Claire), she was very gentle with our poorly guinea pig and was very caring during the examination and administering the medication. She gave a full account of the animals health and her prognosis and her advice and recommendations for future care. Overall this was a very positive experience and it was very reassuring to meet such a caring professional. I would certainly recommend this practice to others seeking a good local Veterinary Surgery and would definitely use them again if needed.

Phoned Acorn Vets with an emergency . Spoke to a very nice helpful young man who passed me over to Clare one of the Vets. We spoke about the problem and she gave the opportunity to attend with my Dog, within the hour.
We received excellent service from a very knowledgeable the friendly Clare I would highly recommend .

Lovely friendly practice. Very accommodating and looked after my two cats beautifully. Also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

I always get an appointment very quickly. The team is so lovely and have been taking care of and pampering my kittens throughout first vaccinations and neutering. They always give comprehensive advice about the next steps and make me feel secure as somewhat of a first time dog and cat owner.

Warm friendly atmosphere with knowledgeable caring staff. They really make you and your pets feel like a part of their own family.

Phones answered promptly and politely.

Every procedure/check up etc is explained to you so that you are best prepared for your pets recovery and fully understand the issue and ongoing care needed

No question is to daft or to small for them.

I've never had a dog excited to see the vet until now.

Cannot recommended Acorn Vets highly enough!! Have been a client for many years now, my dog even gets excited going there!
They've been very helpful and so patient when dealing with my arthritic elderly cat, and the rates are incredibly reasonable compared to other local practices.
They are always able to find a last minute appointment when required, an as well as fantastic veterinary treatment, the nurses and receptionist staff are so lovely and kind. Really helps when you have a poorly animal.
I've also seen them deal with a few very rude clients, and they were incredibly professional and polite despite this.

My kittens are well taken care of here. The staff is friendly and very kind. So far great experience with regular checkups, vaccination, deworming, neutering and microchipping. Very economical too, compared to other vets.

We've been bringing our 2 dogs and cat here for the last few years. We've always been very happy with the service and have come to completely trust Kingston vets with our precious pets. Recently our eldest dog became ill and eventually had to be put to sleep. Alison and Claire both gave him the best care right up to the end and were consistently kind and considerate to us at what was a difficult time. The receptionists have also always been welcoming and friendly, both on the phone and at the practice. Thank you!

I'd give 100 stars if I could, the best vets we have ever, ever been to! Alison, Claire and then whole team are amazing. We were clients for 18 months, only leaving as we had to move away. The care our animals received was fantastic and they always went above and beyond to help us. We had our beloved senior dog put to sleep here and there was nothing but compassion and respect and dignity shown to her and us. Our pets were never treated as 'just pets' and really were treated like they were the team's own. The prices were extremely reasonable too, where we'd paid £900 for something at another vets, we got the exact same treatment and procedure for around £300 here. We will really miss the Kingston Vets team and will struggle to find another practice we trust so much.

A lovely local vet - caring and calm they have looked after our cats for many years. When our loved Khan passed they even sent a card of condolence. Lovely people, great vet.
