La Pasta

We visited this restaurant one Saturday night, last minute idea as we were walking past. We looked in the window and everyone inside was smiling laughing, very jolly. It transpired that there had been an Arsenal match an hour before, and the restaurant was full of happy Arsenal supporters. The place was full, minimal staff, all somehow managed to keep up with all orders, and our pizzas, garlic bread (and Peroni) really hit the spot. Definitely recommend.

Live in the area and everytime I go into this place, the staff are always incredibly polite and kind. Considering how pricey Angel and Highbury has become in general, here is very reasonably priced for great food. Will continue to come back here!

A fun and relaxed little place with a warm, friendly atmosphere, but with character too. I ordered a mushroom pizza with extras of sun-dried tomato and Gorgonzola. The manager/chef (or whoever) is a great guy, and I was impressed to actually taste Gorgonzola throughout my pizza, as usually places are so tight these days. And the pizza had some splendid charring and crispiness, delicious! I'll definitely be back here again.

Nipped in for the dinner deal and was not disappointed! Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere with quick service!

i went out with my friends and we wanted to have a bite to eat so we went here and the pizza was great! my friend had pasta and loved it, the staff was friendly along with the cheff overall 10/10 expierience will come here again !!!

Went there with my girlfriend had a lovely tasty lasagna she order a lovely pizza have to say the wait for the food was amazing 10 to 15 ish minutes was perfect quick service very friendly and welcoming the owner/manager was friendly will be going there again I recommend to everyone!!!!!!

I was really baffled when I read some of the reviews people have left in the past, but I can hand on heart say this place is a little gem to have come across. The staff are friendly, both with customers and with each other, and the food was beautiful. Brilliant prices and great portions! I ordered the penne arrabiata, the mix veg on the side, and my partner ordered the la reine pizza. Everything was packed with flavour! We will definitely be back ☺

We were 4 Italian sand we found a good deal for dinner set menu, pizza is good from wood fire oven, great service and friendly staff

This place is the bees knees for food, I come here every time I’m in the area. Pizza, pasta it’s all amazing and you can tell it’s freshly made. Staff are nice and friendly. And cheap as chips! What more do you want?!

We stopped here after going by to check out the Arsenal stadium. The service was quick and it was the best Italian food we had in London!

The reason we choose this restaurant, as the prices looked reasonable and the overal reviews were good. We had a starter recommended by the waiter, very nice salad platter with olives and bread. Then we all had pasta, homemade and very tasty. We had a bottle of wine, water , some coke. We all had desserts. The atmosphere was lovely, the waiter is very welcoming and professional. It was past closing time and they were still happy for us to be there, of course nice tip was given.
4 people (Starter, bottle of wine, main, dessert) all of this £110. WOW.

We we’re travelling back from Newcastle to London and decided to stop by for some refreshment and food. This is a very authentic Italian Restaurant with freshly prepared and home made Italian food. Excellent friendly and warm service. Right by Highbury & Islington Tube station. Prices are very fair and a great deal. They also are very speedy with the service so I can imagine if you have a train to catch they would not keep you waiting ! Highly recommended!!

My experience at this restaurant, can only be rated as 10 out of 10. We were greeted by welcoming staff, and the food was delicious. Even the salad was 10 out of 10. They have a 2 course meal for lunch and dinner, very reasonable prices.
I thoroughly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my post-match pasta. Great atmosphere, especially when full of my fellow Arsenal fans. Staff did everything they could to accommodate anyone who wanted to eat. I honestly don't know why I keep walking past this place without stopping. I will be back next season.

Had a lovely meal last night at La Pasta. Had the carbonara and gung-ho pasta. Friendly staff, good sized portions and also very quick. Right by the station which makes it easy to get to. Grabbed a meal before going to The Garage for a gig.

Lovely little pasta/pizza restaurant by the station. Huge portion sizes at an affordable price. Worth a visit !
