It's a lovely place for a run or a stroll. There are spaces for a picnic. Kids can have fun in the Hogsmill River, or you can go to Castle Park and see ducks swimming in the lake. There are benches in the woods to rest. I find Hogsmill Riverside very relaxing place

The Hogsmill River is a chalk stream, which is quite unique. It meanders through mile upon mile of ever-changing delightful sights and scenery. Totally recommended.

Another great park around the area, can't fault this place at all. Really nice walking area, great duck pond, good for taking your dog's to walk and INA very quiet and secluded place.

Beautiful area to walk in, dog friendly, I think dogs should be on lead. Lots of wildlife birds to view. The odd kingfisher I am told have seen, ducks, swans, herons to watch. Lots seats to rest & view surroundings.

Love this place. Feeding the birds around the lake is a must. Food can be purchased in the garden centre behind the library (through the car park). The garden centre has friendly staff and lovely food. Both places well worth a visit. Garden centre is not open on Mondays.

Great outdoor space located in Ewell West. It has a large playground for small children, football, tennis and basketball courts and walks along the river. It is well maintained and clean. There's also a library close to the lake which is open until 5 pm.

Brilliant space to walk! From Ewell Village to Ewell Court House ans back, highly recommend every part of this nature reserve! It’s getting better and better too with the introduction of more animals and it’s always very clean and tidy!

This is a beautiful park, which has everything. Its got nice grassed areas, a pond to feed the ducks, a really good cafe, some woodland and a beautiful walk along the river. Its also got a childrens play area just at its edge.

Here's my one and only challenge. As much as i like walking here i go out to walk the dog. On nice days there are lots of kids playing games and lots of picnics. My dog is great with kids, but he loves popping footballs and he loves a picnic (and the picnic-ers don't like him stealing their food). Its a note of caution for dog walkers if your dog is like mine.

Still a great place to walk though

I have known the Hogsmill open space since it was allotments! and my dad used to get water from the Hogsmill to water his allotment after world war 2. It's such a lovely area for a gentle walk and with the duck pond too and Ewell courthouse where I had my wedding reception in 1956.

Pleasant area with river running through it with direct paths running from Tolwoth to Ewell Village. Good for dog walking or just enjoying the country side. Stepping stones cross the river close to Ewell which is great fun for the kids.

Very pleasant area for evening stroll with 🐕 River banks slope gently down to waters edge in places to allow dogs to paddle. Stepping stones in other places.

So fortunate to have this beautiful space at the bottom of the road. Tis abit muddy at the mo, but if you appropriately dressed is still a wonderful place to stroll/walk/cycle (if considerate) through. Watch out for the local wildlife, deer, foxes, badgers, herons, ducks, squirrels & if you're really lucky a kingfisher.
