The Village Cafe

I have been coming here once a week for 2yrs now, it is a convenient stop on the school run to get some breakfast and relax before the day starts. The staff are really friendly and helpful and do their best to ensure you have a good experience. My niece and nephew LOVE the bacon sandwiches, portion are huge and I feel good value for money. The team remember orders and always make you feel welcome and not rushed. Thank you for creating such a welcoming space to start the week!

A hidden gem! The food is absolutely delectable and the service? Top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to make your dining experience memorable. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and indulge in some food. I highly recommend giving it a try! 😋👌

This place is just incredible and highly recommended for anybody.

The food was homey and left a warm happy feeling in your tummy.

Ordered an omelette with mushroom, cheese and tomato with a side of beans and chips. This meal was phenomenal! You could taste that is was made with a lot of love. Loads of flavor and it was hot and fluffy and just perfect.

We also ordered a apple pie that came with home made custard. Once again it was delicious! The portions were very big too, well for myself and team.

The staff were friendly and helpful and very efficient.

If you have not been yet and love home-like food, this is definitely the place for you!

I got the beef and onion pie and my wife got the Shepherd’s pie. They were excellent. It was the first time we tried these dishes in the UK. Yum

Lovely cafe, standards are very high, its beautifully clean, family oriented, with an amazing range of food, everything is fresh and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful, very busy café which tells you how good it is, a huge thanks to Gem and his mum. I would highly recommend. Thanks Gary.

Always excellent service from Jem (apologies for spelling!) and family. Food always perfectly cooked (we always go for cooked breakfast) and the tea is my favourite (coming from a coffee drinker!). Prices are spot on and there's no pretentiousness about the menu, just good, fresh food. Atmosphere is friendly and love the decor too. Staff are very accommodating of requests e.g. order alterations, and tables are cleaned promptly between customers.

The food is delicious and the family that run the cafe are so friendly and welcoming. My son loves to come with me on a Saturday morning to have a little breakfast and see everyone.

The lamb chops were very delicious and the staff was nice and friendly.

I went into the Village Cafe for a bite to eat prior to my evening walk at Richmond Park. I was unfamiliar with the area and decided to try their food.

WOW. The friendliness of each employee was upstanding, and they were very helpful when aiding me to pick out my order. They made me feel at home and welcomed.

The food was incredible. I seriously can’t wait to go back to try some of their other options, since their menu is so diverse. The food was very fairly priced too for how great it was.

Absolutely delicious food, cooked by a lovely family. Very happy with the food, service and vibes. My favourite meal they have is their chicken curry with rice, so yummy, the best!!!
