I don’t often write reviews but we went to the last night of Henry’s supper pop up at Oscar’s and it was absolutely phenomenal. The food, the staff- just great! And we’re so happy to hear Henry and the Oscars owners are going to be opening a restaurant in the old coral betting shop opposite! This is exactly what ladywell needs. Great work guys!

Oscar's is always a friendly place with a community feel to it - I regularly go for a takeaway coffee whilst on a dog walk and am always met with polite conversation and great coffee.

I've eaten in several times and have always enjoyed the food. My one gripe is when sitting outside, the service is sometimes slowed by how busy the counter is - my recommendation to the team would be to be more proactive and make sure everyone, regardless of seating, is getting attention.

Also, Oscar's should consider a loyalty scheme like their neighbours and competitors Le Delice, as they could lose business as a result.

Oscar is by far the best barista coffee you can find near Catford. The place has a nice garden, good pastries and a nice selection of sourdough bread.

The people serving are really nice and it’s both children and dog friendly!

Loved our visit to Oscar’s! Staff were friendly, coffee was beautiful as was the banana bread and sourdough. Can’t wait to return for some more good vibes soon. Thank you!

Greeted by the amazing aroma as you walk up ladywell Road, Oscar's is gorgeous little coffee shop.

The coffees pack a big punch in a small package, smooth yet strong all round great coffee and I can't wait to be near it again to pop back!

Oscars does the best coffee in area, whenever I need a nice fancy coffee made by barista who look like you can trust them I come here. Dog friendly. Lovely garden to sit in, even in December. My sister and I shared a fresh tasty croissant and had a coffee each.

This wonderful cafe served me a handful of free coffees as a Lewisham hospital staff member in spring 2020 during the covid 19 pandemic. I’ve never drunk decaf coffee before or since, but drinking a decaf flat white on the way home from a night shifts was like a warm hug. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.

I’m not the biggest fan of the beans that they use (personal preference) but I recognise that the staff take care in making their coffee and everybody’s very friendly.

The garden out back is also nice to sit in on a summers day. Would recommend buying a drink and strolling around Ladywell.

Oat milk lattée is fabulous ! A bit pricey but definitely a worthy treat. No wifi but if you have BT/ EE you will be fine. Really relaxing in the morning but got busy around lunchtime of course.

Love this place as they consider the customer so well. You get a pint of water with every order if you eat/drink in, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are so pleasant. Also they do fantastic croissants.

Great coffee and small, quality menu with a cosy terrace. Can get busy on a weekend as expected, but the staff are always very accommodating and allowed me to charge my phone whilst I stayed.

Cosy and quite place to enjoy a coffe or a slice of good cake. There is a small garden on the back, really pretty. The staff is so kind.

Maybe it’s just me being nostalgic as it’s close to home and I’ve not been home in years but I genuinely think this is the best coffee you can find in London!

Everything is ridiculously overpriced (i think it’s like £4.50 for a cinnamon roll?) but we owe that to gentrification!
