Wow, incredible pastries and great coffee! Really nice setting, the courtyard is so cute. We got a good selection of pastries and they were all absolutely delicious. I really recommend the cardomom bun, I don't usually like cardomom but this was amazing, almost a blend of sweet and savoury. The only thing close to it I can remember is pastries I used to have in Cambodia at roadside stalls.

Anyway, definitely worth a visit. Super friendly team and though prices are a bit high they are totally justified by the quality.

Love this place!! Would recommend their veggie sausage roll with to-die-for flaky pastry and a sticky cardamom bun. Wonderful sun trap of a courtyard out front too. Keep it up guys (:

Delicious bread and buns to take away. Well worth the slightly higher price you may get in a cheap bakery.

Also very nice to stay in and have a drink as the surroundings are very relaxed and open, plus you get to smell the lovely coffee and freshly baked bread!

One of the best almond croissants I've ever had. A bit on the expensive side (£4) but definitely worth it.

Hands down THE BEST in town!!! Delicious and warm oven-fresh cinnamon rolls with just the right amount of firmness vs softer bits in the centre. The regular croissants are unmatched as well. Worth coming back over and over again to try everything! They often experiment and offer new pastry additions alongside their ‘classics’ as well as delicious lunch sandwiches. And of course amazing sourdough loafs too + the nicest people!

Been a few times and every time it's great. the focaccia sandwiches are delicious and v creative. Coffee could be better but tbh I'll take it for how good the almond croissants and bread and butter pudding slice have been.

Had me a very very very very very nice chocky cookie here this morning. 101/10 would recommend.

Staff friendly & good coffee. Throughout lockdown at their previous location we tried everything and never had a bad experience, so very glad to see them back in Deptford!

Lovely little neighbourhood bakery with excellent coffee. The cinnamon buns and cardamom buns are delicious and the focaccia is also great, with authentic dough texture (as verified by an Italian).

This bakery is bang on trend, and its Almond Croissant ranks very highly in the London league table!

Wonderful bakery, have been coming here at the weekend for bread for about a year. They also make some delicious pastries. The croissants are amazing, I love a nice bit of butter pastry and travel to France frequently however the croissants here are better than just about all the croissants I've had there in recent years

This bakery...Oh my goodness. The cinnamons are the best North American style cinnamons I have ever had (not sure if that’s what they’re going for but they are by far the most delicious things and I have searched London high and low for these). The almond croissants are also the best almond croissants I have ever had. They put a cookie on the top of them or something? Sooo good. The ambiance is also lovely and the staff are really polite and passionate. Love coming here.

Amazing bakery tucked away in a nice courtyard seating area. Some tables in shade, some in lovely warm sunshine. Cinnamon roll and pain au raisin both absolutely delicious, and very good iced coffees

... but everything they make is DELICIOUS. Their almond croissant is the best in london. Same for the cinnamon and cardamon rolls. Everything is amazing. Best kept secret in London.

This is the real deal. The croissants are possibly the best I have ever tasted and the bread is baked to perfection. I am hard to please when it comes to bread and I will be buying my weekly supply from here from now on. Only concern is that they will sell out if I don’t get down there early enough on Saturday mornings but no doubt as word spreads about the quality they will bake more. Charming staff. God bless independent retailers like this giving us this quality and taking a chance in this day and age with all the overheads they face.

Our daughter has just moved into the area while my wife was wandering she found this great bakery café. Excellent coffee, bread and pastries all really high quality. Some daily soup specials, excellent toasties and cut sandwiches on their fabulous bread with friendly service thrown in. Don’t just take an old aussie bloke’s word for it give it a go yourself.

It is hard to think of a single place that has higher quality bread, pastries and coffee. All items are freshly baked in store each day and the quality is second to none. Places like Gail's and Paul arteton pale in comparison to the quality produced here - it's no wonder their loaves sell out on a daily basis. Make sure to try the crossaints - always big and crunchy and never disappoint!

so glad they have reopened in Deptford. best pastries, bread and coffee in the neighbourhood. which is quite a statement because there is some steep competition around.
