We were looking for a locksmith to change the locks upon moving in, but turns out that Dave is more than a locksmith, he's an Everysmith (many talents!) - we booked him at the same time to also provide us with a consultation on several works that we would like to do in our new place. Dave has been absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend his services. We're delighted with the redecoration work he carried out for us after we had a leak at our basement flat. The leak turned out to be particularly challenging to fix and he was always on hand to offer advice. The work he did for us included building a custom-made step which he needed to adapt at a late stage to cover a drainage box for the leak. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough at every stage. I would definitely consider booking him again for any building or maintenance work needed.

I can't speak highly enough of David and his team. They are extremely professional in terms of their workmanship but also in their overall approach and especially in their courtesy to the customer. From the first meeting to discuss the work of replacing the floorboards on our landings, Dave was extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done and the advice given was really helpful. The quote was received the next day. The work was completed to an excellent standard, on time and nothing was too much trouble. Once all the work was completed they left the house very neat and tidy, I would highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

I cannot recommend Dave and his team highly enough. He originally gave a detailed quote for complete redecoration of my fathers flat along with updating the bathroom. After work had begun it became apparent that a full refurbishment was required. Nothing seemed to phase them and I was always kept fully informed as issues arose and given options and ideas of how to rectify them. The work has been completed to a very high standard and I am thrilled with the finished result.

Dave and his team were brilliant! I was looking around for a while to get someone into to fix our dripping tap, install our TV onto the wall and fit a day and night blind. Dave came in looked at all the jobs, gave us a reasonable quote and did an amazing job. Not only did he finish everything to a great standard but also made sure that it was done in the best way so that we will not have any issues in the future. Definitely would use and recommend again!

We had a kitchen and utility room refurb recently carried out by Dave and his team, and we're really happy with their work. They fitted shelves, top boxes and cabinets in the kitchen, installed new laminate flooring, as well as replaced worktops, upstands, installed a new sink and tap and gave us some beautiful tiling that really finished off the job perfectly. Dave did an immaculate job of painting and decorating to boot.
Not only was the work carried out to a very high standard, Dave and his team are friendly, professional and approachable people, and are happy to discuss the work in progress to achieve an optimum solution for the customer. We requested some extra tiling, and it was in progress the same afternoon. All quotes were comprehensive and invoices sent incrementally as the work was completed.
With our two toddlers that need feeding at set times, Dave also gave us space to access the kitchen to prepare meals for them even while he was working, which was much appreciated.
We couldn't recommend DFP Building Services highly enough.. and wish we had found them a lot sooner!

Dave did an incredible job on our water damaged collapsed ceiling. His work was meticulous. He is a proper craftsman. And he always arrived on time, despite the snow, working hard to do a great job. He left the space immaculate every evening. I have no hesitation in using DFP again - in fact we've already booked in him to do our new bathroom!

I would whole heartedly recommend DFP building services to anyone. Dave is extremely professional, accomodating and personable. He works to a very high standard and has always kept me 'in the loop' if plans need to be changed or if alternatives present themselves. Dave has carried out a range of works for me including decorating, carpentry and door locks. I am thoroughly pleased with all the work he has done. If there was an option beyond Excellent, I would have selected it!

Outstanding quality of work - excellent attention to detail; friendly, reliable and very tidy too! Dave painted our hall, living room and bedrooms a few years ago and when this year we needed some further decorating work in the kitchen and bathroom, we reached straight for his number. He not only did a lovely job, he helped us find a shelf with odd dimensions that we thought we wouldn't be able to get made, and fitted it the very next day.

DFP's quality of work is excellent. I have used them for decorating work at home. They are clearly experienced as all work was extremely professional and experienced. To top things off, the work was completed before the estimated timeline. I would certainly use them again.
