My son had his surgery this morning and the nurses and doctors were fantastic. I can’t be more grateful than having such good care for my 4 year all. Special thanks to Harriet who has been taking care of him and checking on us as well as the little one. She made sure that he was fine and stable for discharge and went above and beyond to help us. Really appreciate all the kindness and patience and support she gave us throughout the situation. I highly recommend this hospital:

I had to have a minor procedure recently and just wanted to say how fantastic the service was. Everyone, from reception staff, porters, caring nurses, catering, the anaesthetist and surgeon were delightful. I felt really well looked after and the room was so clean and welcoming. Thank you very much for taking great care of me.

I was admitted to St Anthony’s hospital in later November 2023 for a total hip replacement operation. The treatment and after care I received was first class and I was delighted with the service I received there. Apart from the skill of the Surgeon who performed the operation, I was especially impressed with Physio Department (and sessions in the hydro-pool) which definitely helped me regain full mobility - Thank you, guys!

I received great service at St Anthony's Hospital. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and I was looked after with the utmost care. Special thanks to the brilliant consultant Dr Ding and wonderful nurses Joyce and Fiona. As a food lover, I was impressed by the menu options provided with a wide variety suitable for all tastes. Even desserts such as creme brule or mango cheesecake were available. My room was comfortable and quiet. All in all a positive experience. Thank you!

What outstanding service I received at St Anthony’s. A lovely welcome from reception staff and transportation person who showed me to my room. The ward staff, doctors and surgical team were outstanding, I really mean outstanding, not only looking after me pre operation procedure but were also brilliant post procedure. Food was lovely I mean really tasty just the right amount of portions. If you’re a little peckish during day or night, no worries they’ll get you something of your choice, they were lovely and nothing was too much for them. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Great experience so far in treating a frozen shoulder, initial consultation with Dr Griffiths and follow up hydrodilatation injection procedure with Dr George was top notch... Not to mention the fantastic quality of care from reception professionals, nurses and assistant surgery staff. I actually had a fun time while getting a giant needle stuck into my shoulder, pumped full of saline, anaesthetic and steroid... Felt in safe hands, calm and totally reassured every step of the way

My mother in law had a recent lumbar decompression. The outcome was incredible, mirrored by the service received. The physio application was by far the best in class she experienced.
One of my close personal friends has had multiple visits for various issues over recent years. The fact he has returned numerous times speaks volumes.
This is top of my list for elective surgeries should the need arise.

Fantastic service from initial consultation to Scan and MRI The consultant listened to my concerns and was both informative and patient answering all my questions. The reception staff are fantastic Lynda and Monika were so welcoming and professional such a credit to the hospital, Jonelle is a superstar ensuring my follow up appointments were booked, such a positive start to my hospital journey. The ultrasound staff were first class so welcoming and Victoria in the MRI unit is an absolute credit to the hospital I was so anxious and she kept me calm all the way through I literally don’t think I could’ve done it without her. This is an example of how healthcare should be! I’m sure this positive experience will continue through until my operation. Thank you

I attended Spire St Anthony’s Hospital for the first time and was delighted with the experience from the initial telephone contact with them which continued throughout my journey. The reception staff were helpful and smiling in addition to the outpatient staff being helpful. I was seen on time by the consultant who was extremely kind and professional. Being informed by the consultant that I was in the right place to be treated it was comforting. Strange, but true, I am looking forward to returning to Spire St Anthony’s hospital for my surgical procedure as I am know I will be looked after. Thank you to all the staff.

Excellent, friendly care from medical and nursing staff, with great care taken to provide clear information and get my fully informed consent at every step. Shout-out, too, to the admin staff (especially Lynda and Monique), who worked hard to overcome my insurer's lastminute-itis and communicated with me at every step. Facilities were clean and tranquil; everyone - porters, cleaners, caterers, radiographers, and of course doctors (incl anaesthetists) and nurses - was friendly, cheerful, polite and thoroughly professional.

I have been attending the Physio department for a year. From the lovely receptionists Alice and Sue to the physio’s Amy and Steve - they have always been thorough, professional, hands on and really keen to get to the bottom of the problem. They have treated both my daughter for Severs disease and myself for back problems. The whole team are so polite, caring and need a pat on the back for going above and beyond. Thank you team physio @ St Anthony’s.

For many years I have attended St Anthonys and have found everyone so welcoming. When my Consultant recommended a MRI I was able to book it in for the same week. Throughout the scan the young lady reassured me every step of the way. I was given music to listen to and she constantly spoke to me whilst in the machine explaining every stage and the length of time I had left to go. I had been feeling anxious but it turned out to be a very positive experience. Thank you

I found staff at St Anthonys Hospital to be extremely approachable and helpful. Arrived during the 2021 pandemic surge – the hospital was well prepared with new mask dispensers, well marked routes on the hospital floors and sanitisers along corridor walls. The consulting areas and wards are well laid out. Clean and tidy throughout. My cardiologist was understanding, sympathetic, knowledgeable and reassuring to my condition. I went for a cardiac stress test and a scan. The test was explained to me and pre-test checks were done with supportive and reassuring chat and smiles. The cafeteria was shut owing to the pandemic but there were plenty of food+hot drinks vending machines throughout the hospital. Excellent hospital. Would definitely recommend.

I had an outstanding experience of healthcare from initial consultation to operation and aftercare. The consultant listened to my concerns and was both informative and empathetic. Being escorted to my room by a friendly porter was a welcoming touch and reduced the initial anxiety when first arriving at the hospital. The nurses and HCA’s who looked after me on the wards were extremely responsive, kind and compassionate. The private en-suite room was well equipped and I appreciated the friendliness of the hospitality staff bringing refreshments and meals. There is also a restaurant open to visitors which my family went for meals, although staff would kindly offer tea and biscuits in my room. If you are looking for first class healthcare then I highly recommend St Anthony’s.

I was admitted for a gastroscopy and colonoscopy. The consultant was lovely, reassuring and explained everything clearly. The staff looking after me were friendly and professional. The procedures, that I was not necessarily looking forward to, a much better whole experience.

I recently underwent a complex 2-stage surgery spanning more than three months, and I cannot commend the medical team and staff enough for their exceptional care and support throughout the entire journey. From the surgeon to the hospital team, everyone demonstrated a level of commitment and professionalism that left no room for doubt or concern.

The surgeon, in particular, stood out for his patience, accessibility, and thoroughness, ensuring that I felt completely confident in the treatment plan. I always felt reassured by his expertise.

Equally praiseworthy was the hospital team's clear focus on the patient journey. The nursing team, with their warm and friendly demeanour, created an atmosphere of empathy and support. Never once did they make me feel like a burden; instead, they consistently prioritised my needs. Their proficiency in managing medications and constant availability added to the overall sense of security.

The physiotherapists played a crucial role in tailoring their support to my specific medical needs. Their patient and encouraging approach made the rehabilitation process not only effective but also a positive experience. It was evident that they were genuinely invested in my well-being.

Beyond the medical care, the wider support team ensured that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. From ensuring I had the right food and drinks to promptly addressing any room-related needs, their attention to detail was commendable. Their dedication went beyond the clinical aspects, creating an environment where I felt genuinely cared for.

Having experienced various healthcare settings, I can confidently say that the medical and in-patient care I received was top-class. What set this experience apart was the "family" focus, where the care team went the extra mile to establish a personal connection. This human touch made a significant impact on my overall perception of the healthcare journey.

In conclusion, my experience with this medical facility surpassed expectations, and I am grateful for the outstanding care provided by the entire team. Their dedication, expertise, and genuine concern for patients make them a benchmark for excellence in medical care.
