Had an amazing experience in store, the staff were all very helpful and informative. After purchasing my knife the aftercare was amazing. I emailed them about a problem I had with my knife which was no fault of their own and they were super responsive and got back to me straight away. They told me to come into the store and got it sorted immediately, they even offered me a free polish for my knife and a discount on my second purchase for the inconvenience even though it wasn’t their fault.
They were all so helpful and spent over an hour with me helping me pick my next knife for my collection. I want to just say a huge thank you to Alex, Vishal and Kashyap whose customer care and service was amazing! I can’t thank them all enough, I know I’m not an easy customer to please!

I’m a chef and recipe developer and was looking for my first Japanese chef knife. All I knew was that I was looking for a gyuto knife, and so naturally I had many questions about the wide range of knives to choose from.
I was advised by Kanako, who was so patient and knowledgeable. She spent more than an hour answering all my questions and she knew the precise origin of every single knife, who made it, information about the company, how it was made, and of course what it is used for.
She helped me find the perfect knife and they even adjusted the size of the sheath, so it would fit the leather bag I selected. I can’t recommend the Japanese Knife Company enough for high quality knives and excellent customer service.

The knife collection is is unique and staff are very knowledgeable amd friendly. I was there for almost 1 hour amd the way staff treated me and answered my questions was remarkable, even though I didn't buy anything from them. If you're a knife enthusiast, give them a visit, it worth it.

A place where you will get excellent quality and a variety of Japanese knives. You will find many knives with beautiful work on them and precision. Checkout the section of households and crockery as well downstairs. A bit expensive but every penny spent will be worth it.

A superb showcase of beautifully crafted knives. The layout of the shop is more in line with a museum than a kitchen utility business. Behind each of the glass cupboards lies the range. The Japanese Knife Company offers great value for money utilities through to high-end Japanese treasures. The craftsmanship apparent in some of the pieces is exquisite. The staff are on hand to offer extensive information about each piece.
The shop offers excellent services. I had my knife engraved and resharpened there. Very pleased with the results.

Amazing experience again. It's my second time I'm buying knifes in this place and again I'm in love. Their knifes are absolutely gorgeous, quality and precision of workmanship you can feel strength away when you will take knife in your hand. Place look beautiful and you can see from entrance passion and care of every single knife in hole store. And the most important for me is customer service. Guys you are always doing amazing job. Doesn't matter if you are head chef in Michelin star restaurant, sushi master or just someone loving cook home they will find equipment fitting perfect in your hand and what is also important in your pocket.

Received a set of Japanese knives and a magnetic knife board as a present for my wife's birthday. On opening found that the wooden knife board was split. Sent a photo to JKC and the General Manager replied the same day offering to replace the board as soon as a replacement was found. New board arrived today. I am extremely pleased by the level of service provided. My wife is also delighted with her new knife set

A great selection of Japanese chef knives. Staff are knowledgable and service is kind and courteous. Enjoyed my visit to store in Baker Street and came back with 2 Damascus additions to my collection. Will certainly be back in the near future.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Ordered knife with engraving and arrives next day. Product was as described and picture on website nice, but product even better in real life. Sent to me by courier who kept me up to date with constant emails until delivery. Company very professional and would definitely use again.
