Clean, well-equipped, spacious and with friendly staff on hand to help as needed. A very welcoming vibe. Modern equipment, all working, good floor space, weight machines and free, plus an excellent swimming pool (booking required). Great example of an accessible gym. Oh, classes upstairs that I haven’t used.

The swimming pool is warm, clean and sunny thanks to the skylights in the roof. What puzzles me is the customers who don't change their shoes for flip flops and go straight into the changing rooms. It's such a small effort that is needed to keep the place clean for all.

I didn't use the gym,so can't comment on that facility,but I only have extremely positive feedback to give on the excellent classes.I only left because I have moved out of the area to North Yorkshire.The standard of teaching was excellent on every level ,Ania's classes were always superb,as was the guy (whose name escapes me) who did the boxing class...not just teaching,but sheer dedication too.Pilates was excellent...I just loved it,and the Reception staff were always so helpful and pleasant.I miss you all.The studios and equipment were first class,and I met some super people there.I will never forget my time at Highbury and wish you all continued success for the future.

All members of staff are very friendly, and accommodating. My children are learning to swim there, and enjoy it very much. The facilities are well maintained and clean.

After the lockdown everything is changed for better.
Clean, the measures are following, the pool is open as well.

A great place with really helpful staff, with special reference to Afram on reception who was very accommodating and helped us out during our recent visit to the leisure centre.

Today I came to Highbury leisure centre to inquire about the membership as I haven’t been to the gym since the pandemic. I was met with a young man named Afrim who gave me all the information I required and more. I was shown the facilities by Katie ( I believe she was the duty manager ) who was also absolutely brilliant. Both made me feel very welcomed and put my worries at ease. Lovely team and site.

Great gym area with spacious clean bright pool even though I don’t use it. The Sauna is controlled well, overall all the staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and approachable.
I have seen a lot of improvement recently , and Thank you guys for making the centre enjoyable.

Today I experienced fantastic customer service from Afrim & Katie. Myself and a friend arrived to be greeted by smiles and a helpful attitude. My friend is a Gym newbie who’s on the road of increasing her fitness.
Their knowledge of the services available within the Centre put her at ease and will contribute to her attendance. Thank you both, 😃

Great experience, life guards were excellent and very professional, especially the man with long blonde hair - when we went last month we had a great swim.

I went today for the first time for a swim and got served by Jaimie, who has been very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the long pool and it wasn’t crowded at all - will definitely come back

Great service. The staff helped us immediately. We are travelling so finding a gym to accommodate us for swimming might not be that easy. The staff helped us and we went for a 1.5km swim. Really enjoyed the experience.

A truly breathtaking experience at this leisure centre amazing facilities ranging from the sauna and steam rooms to the gym and the swimming pool. All staff are incredibly kind and helpful especially one of the younger lifeguards who I believe his name started with a T. Would definitely recommend

For a Year now since the change in management, the leisure centre has only moved to become the best centre in the borough.

It's been a while since I've stepped foot in here, it's been refurbished and looks amazing!
So much cleaner than before.
The pools are sectioned off for Lane swimming, for different abilities which is helpful.

The pool is great! Clean, spacious and has lots of times available. I have also done yoga and that was good.

The new gym facilities are great, with plenty of access and variety for all. And the women's changing rooms are amazing! Decent hair dryers,straighteners and roomy showers means there is no hassle getting work-ready after a morning session.

Friendly staff and good value. Nice pool and well kitted out gym. Shame that pool does not have exit at sauna end.
