Personally, I don't believe in god but if there is a god, he has delivered us some angels in the form of Mr Birdi & his amazing team. I will be forever grateful for what they did for me. I was told by my local heart surgeon in Wythenshawe Manchester that I only had one option that wasn't ideal. Inder managed to see me and explain some options of newer surgery that he had learned. I spend time every now and then researching him more as I find him truly fascinating. The things he does outside of the opperating theatre just add to the calming personality he is. Most people would worry about dying when going in for heart surgery and all the things that can go wrong but after speaking to Birdi, I stopped worrying about that and I became excited for the things my surgery will allow me to do. If i hear of anyone that ever has a heart issue or may need heart surgery i am very quick to point them in his direction as I trust with his knowledge he will make the right choice for the patient.

The whole time I felt I was in safe knowledgable hands and was cared for throughout my stay, with regular check ins and updates all explained in simply form and even when discharged I have left knowing their door is always open.

10 years ago today Inder Birdi and his team gave me a heart bypass. Despite it being the Christmas period, the arrangement and consultations were quick, efficient, and caring. The procedure was straightforward (for me at least - I was asleep!) and the care in recovery was exemplary. I cannot praise or thank them enough. I am also hugely grateful that Inder was able to take the stress and concerns out of such an important operation and give my family and me the confidence that all would be well.

Mr Birdi is very kind and courteous, as well as knowledgeable, in every interaction!
